Wen Yifan ordered two bowls of noodles at her usual study shop—one bowl for herself and one bowl across from her. Sang Yan called her, saying he would definitely go to Nan Wu University with her. Wen Yifan smiled and nodded slightly. Mu Chengyun told Sang Yan that he would be Wen Yifan's next roommate. After saying that, he started to look around the house on his own. Wen Yifan commented that Sang Yan was easy to get along with.

Just as Mu Chengyun was about to tour Sang Yan's bedroom, both Wen Yifan and Sang Yan spoke at the same time to refuse his request. Wen Yifan said she didn’t like living with men and wasn’t used to it, but Sang Yan was an exception. After Mu Chengyun left, Wen Yifan asked Sang Yan how long he would stay. Sang Yan replied with a question: "How long would you like me to stay?

" Wen Yifan didn’t answer and quickly ran back to her room. She thought back to when her father passed away, realizing that the people we care about may suddenly leave one day. She hated this feeling and wasn’t accustomed to the presence of someone else. Although Sang Yan had once told her that no matter what happened, he would always be by her side, she feared the feeling of him leaving.

If he were to leave, she would rather not get used to him being there. Su Haoan’s grandfather went to his house to look for Zhong Siqiao. Su Haoan hurriedly asked Zhong Siqiao for help, and she dropped everything to come over. After sending Su Haoan away, the grandfather checked the room and confirmed that they weren’t living together. He told Zhong Siqiao that since they were considering marriage, they needed to try to understand each other’s habits.

Sang Yan had cooked too much porridge again, but Wen Yifan didn’t help him finish it. She reminded herself not to get used to it—no matter how good something was, it would eventually disappear. Mu Chengyun specially prepared breakfast for Wen Yifan, but she didn’t accept it. He advised her to recognize who truly cared for her, but Wen Yifan told him she could tell the difference when it came to bad habits.

Director Gan from the finance department informed Wen Yifan that, due to the incident at Yihe Daily, her interview with Wan Da had been canceled. Wen Yifan’s mother came to the TV station to see her. She said that after talking to her aunt, she would compensate Wen Yifan more in the future and hoped for her forgiveness. Back in the office, Director Gan and the head of the advertising department argued heatedly about Wen Yifan’s situation at Yihe Daily.

This time, Wen Yifan didn’t avoid the issue. She bravely defended herself and cleared up the misunderstanding. Wen Yifan came home after 10 p. m. without informing Sang Yan. He was about to ask her where she had been, but she directly went into her room. That night, Wen Yifan sleepwalked again. Sang Yan observed her and figured out a pattern: she would sleepwalk whenever she was upset or drunk.

Wen Yifan walked to Sang Yan’s bedroom door, paused for a moment, and then entered. Sang Yan hurriedly stopped her, and Wen Yifan obediently returned to her own room. After finishing an interview, Mu Chengyun made an excuse that he needed to buy a gift for a senior’s daughter and asked Wen Yifan to come to the mall with him. Wen Yifan refused. Mu Chengyun wasn’t happy about it and noticed something on Wen Yifan's neck.

He reached out to touch it, but Wen Yifan quickly stepped aside and pushed his hand away. Sang Zhi came to find Sang Yan, but he wasn’t home. Wen Yifan asked about Sang Zhi’s college entrance exam, and Sang Zhi mentioned that she applied to Yihe University. Her family hadn’t opposed it much, but Sang Yan was very angry, as it reminded him of when his first love had dumped him after his own college entrance exams.

Wen Yifan had a bruise on her arm from bumping into glass during one of her sleepwalking episodes. Sang Yan was very concerned and immediately put corner protectors on all the sharp edges in the house. That night, Wen Yifan sleepwalked again, opening Sang Yan’s bedroom door and lying down on his bed.
