Yang Zhengwen came to see Su Ying with sushi. Su Ying said she wasn't hungry, so he had his subordinates share it with the others. They discussed work, and Su Ying asked if it was a coincidence that her studio recently received cases related to Tian Di Jian Gong (Heaven and Earth Construction). Yang Zhengwen praised her design studio and said it was the best in his opinion. Su Ying had nothing to say, and after their conversation, Yang Zhengwen left. While he was getting into his car, he happened to see Qin Yunsheng coming to bring Su Ying a late-night snack and left in resignation.

Su Ying was delighted to see the dumplings that Qin Yunsheng had personally prepared. She talked to him about Tian Di Jian Gong (Heaven and Earth Construction), and he assured her that he didn't mind. While fetching water outside, Qin Yunsheng overheard Cai Chen and others praising Yang Zhengwen, which made him feel uncomfortable. Another day, Qin Yunsheng came to bring food for Su Ying but didn't enter when he saw that they were busy. Su Ying found him sleeping in the car, woke him up, and felt sorry for him. Qin Yunsheng explained that he was worried about Su Ying going home alone late at night, so he decided to accompany her and see her safely home.

Du Huixuan prepared a meal for Xu Mingshi, and Cai Chen bought Cao Xiaoye's favorite spicy hot pot. Yang Zhengwen had to leave for a business trip over the weekend, so they had to reschedule their plans. Su Ying had to cancel her date with Qin Yunsheng and explained that she would be busy for the next few days. Qin Yunsheng was disappointed but supportive of Su Ying's work.

Du Huixuan posted her fashion aesthetic updates online, but one person kept complaining in the comments, and that person was Xu Mingshi. However, Du Huixuan didn't know it was him. After a few days of not posting, Xu Mingshi messaged her, asking why she hadn't been updating. Du Huixuan replied, saying that she wasn't feeling well. Xu Mingshi encouraged her and provided suggestions for improvement, but Du Huixuan didn't respond to him after seeing the comments.

Qin Yunsheng messaged Su Ying to ask when she would be available, and Su Ying went to the hospital to see him. They were planning to have hot pot together, but Yang Zhengwen called and asked Su Ying to come and confirm a sample. Su Ying didn't want to go, but Yang Zhengwen hung up abruptly. So, Su Ying went with Qin Yunsheng. While Su Ying and Yang Zhengwen worked, Qin Yunsheng waited outside. After they finished, Su Ying noticed that Qin Yunsheng's mood seemed off. She asked if he was upset, and he denied it. She offered him a piece of candy, and when they were waiting at a traffic light, he kissed her, which made him feel better.

Qin Yunsheng visited Yang Zhengwen under the pretext of delivering certificates. Yang Zhengwen wanted Su Ying's donated item from Qin Yunsheng, but Qin Yunsheng refused. They engaged in a metaphorical battle using the donated item. Yang Zhengwen admitted his carelessness led to its loss and hoped Qin Yunsheng would return it. Qin Yunsheng said that some things, once missed, can never be regained and advised Yang Zhengwen to maintain a good distance between himself and his girlfriend, Su Ying. Yang Zhengwen asked his subordinate about Su Ying's schedule and, upon learning it, tossed the certificates into the trash bin, then went to find Su Ying. He saw Su Ying and others moving things. Qin Yunsheng arrived and helped Su Ying, leaving Yang Zhengwen standing awkwardly on the side. Afterward, Su Ying and Qin Yunsheng went on their date hand in hand, leaving Yang Zhengwen feeling quite disheartened.

Tian Mei provided three plans for a case to Su Ying, explaining them in detail. Su Ying was satisfied and agreed to have her join her studio. Su Ying was introducing Tian Mei to everyone when Yang Zhengwen arrived. After the introductions, Yang Zhengwen invited everyone to dinner. Su Ying was about to decline, but Qin Yunsheng arrived, and Yang Zhengwen invited him as well. To everyone's surprise, Qin Yunsheng agreed and even suggested another restaurant. Seeing this, the others quickly found excuses to leave. During the dinner, Qin Yunsheng and Yang Zhengwen competed for Su Ying's attention, leaving her speechless. After the dinner, Qin Yunsheng got drunk and couldn't walk properly, so Su Ying helped him. They took a taxi together, and Yang Zhengwen watched them leave, feeling quite dejected.
