Su Ying helped Qin Yunsheng into a taxi, and Yang Zhengwen watched this scene with mixed emotions. While in his car, he recalled the times when Su Ying had taken care of him when he was drunk, sighing deeply. Su Ying helped Qin Yunsheng remove his clothes and clean up. In his drunken state, Qin Yunsheng revealed his true feelings, expressing his disapproval of Su Ying working with Yang Zhengwen. He also mentioned warning Yang Zhengwen to stay away from Su Ying. Su Ying looked at Qin Yunsheng's face and replied with a simple "okay."

While Su Ying was in Qin Yunsheng's car, she received a call informing her that Du Huixuan and Liu Peter had a dispute and were now at the police station. Su Ying rushed to the scene, and although Du Huixuan was unharmed, Liu Peter had been beaten up. Liu Peter demanded that Du Huixuan write a public apology letter, or he would have her fired. Du Huixuan was furious and immediately resigned. Su Ying comforted Du Huixuan briefly and then had Xu Mingshi take her home. Du Huixuan and Xu Mingshi sat on a bench, chatting and having a drink.

The next day, Xu Mingshi helped Du Huixuan move the company's belongings. Su Ying and Qin Yunsheng were waiting downstairs for them. Su Ying invited Du Huixuan once again to join the team-building outing, and this time, Du Huixuan agreed. When Su Ying's colleague Tian Mei came to sit in Su Ying's chair, she was enjoying herself. At that moment, Yang Zhengwen arrived, and Tian Mei quickly stood up. Yang Zhengwen asked her where Su Ying had gone, and Tian Mei told him about their team-building event and that Qin Yunsheng had also joined. Yang Zhengwen then left. On the island, everyone enjoyed various water activities and had a great time. Su Ying went to find Qin Yunsheng to borrow a charging cable. Qin Yunsheng was blow-drying his hair, so Su Ying retrieved it from her luggage. At that moment, Zhang Yisen called Qin Yunsheng and said he had prepared something for him and placed it in the luggage. Qin Yunsheng realized what it was and quickly approached Su Ying, taking the bag from her and retrieving the charging cable. He then carried the bag behind him, leaving Su Ying curious. Xu Mingshi and Du Huixuan bought a pair of "Love Peas" bracelets for a discount and sat together.
