Yang Zhengwen hinted to Qin Yunsheng that he couldn't forget Mi Su and wanted him to give up on Su Ying. However, Qin Yunsheng said that cherishing the present moment was the best course of action. In the car, one of Yang Zhengwen's subordinates informed him that he had been invited as a guest of honor to the ADA competition, where Su Ying was also participating. Yang Zhengwen agreed to the invitation but decided to first investigate Su Ying's studio's award situation. The subordinate mentioned that Su Ying's design studio had refused to cooperate with them, which made Yang Zhengwen recall the business card given to him by Tian Mei. He decided to reach out to her.

Su Ying and her team came to the glass house to shoot. Su Ying was grateful to Du Huixuan for her assistance. Du Huixuan reminded Su Ying about her promise to introduce someone to her. Su Ying said she would inquire with the person first, and Du Huixuan scolded her, prompting Su Ying to agree to ask the person in the next couple of days. Xu Mingshi listened attentively nearby and then approached Qin Yunsheng. Qin Yunsheng told him that he was already aware of the situation and offered several pieces of advice. While they were getting ready, they noticed that the glass house had no water and electricity. Qin Yunsheng pretended it might be because he had forgotten to pay the bills, and the others bought his explanation.

Tian Mei received Yang Zhengwen's invitation and accepted it with delight. Yang Zhengwen began with polite pleasantries but later subtly urged Tian Mei to persuade Su Ying to cooperate with his company on the seaside garden project. Falling into his trap, Tian Mei agreed to talk to Su Ying. The next day, Tian Mei showed Su Ying a case file, and Su Ying was shocked to see that the glass house was within the demolition area. This made her remember Qin Yunsheng's recent strange behavior, and everything became clear. Su Ying went to find Yang Zhengwen and overheard their discussion about the seaside garden project. Yang Zhengwen firmly opposed the forced demolition. A group of people gathered outside the glass house, trying to force Qin Yunsheng to move out. The person in charge arrived and decided not to force them to leave for the time being. Su Ying had a brief conversation with Yang Zhengwen and thanked him for temporarily saving the glass house. After Su Ying left, Yang Zhengwen saw a message from Tian Mei, stating that Su Ying had left in anger.

Su Ying visited the glass house to talk to Qin Yunsheng about the demolition issue. Qin Yunsheng assured her that he would take care of it, and they stayed close together.

Du Huixuan continued to chat online with Xu Mingshi's alias, and the next day, while having afternoon tea with Su Ying, she mentioned that she seemed to have developed feelings for an online friend. Su Ying smiled and supported her in meeting this person. Xu Mingshi received a message from Du Huixuan and was alarmed. After Su Ying returned, she immediately informed Xu Mingshi about Du Huixuan's situation. Xu Mingshi revealed that he was the person Du Huixuan had been chatting with. Su Ying was shocked but encouraged him to agree to meet her. In the evening, Su Ying told Qin Yunsheng about Du Huixuan and Xu Mingshi's situation and invited him to accompany her to the awards ceremony if she made it to the finals. Qin Yunsheng agreed.

When Su Ying arrived at the office, Cai Chen and the others celebrated her successful selection for the ADA competition with confetti. Su Ying went to tell Qin Yunsheng the good news, but when he saw the date was the 21st, he fell silent. Su Ying followed his gaze to the calendar and realized it was the anniversary of Mi Su's passing. Su Ying kindly suggested that Qin Yunsheng should go visit Mi Su's grave instead of attending her award ceremony. Qin Yunsheng hesitated, but Su Ying reassured him, saying that she might not even win the award, and that would be embarrassing. Touched by her understanding, Qin Yunsheng hugged Su Ying and promised to attend the ceremony. Du Huixuan and Xu Mingshi chatted and discovered that they both planned to attend the ADA event. They were excited and arranged to meet that evening.
