Tian Mei presented the design proposal to Jiang Dong, who was very satisfied and agreed to collaborate. At this point, Su Ying mentioned that she had an awkward request.

Mi Bai bought a poster of Jiang Dong's book signing event and gave it to Lele, who remained pessimistic. Lele mentioned that the book signing event was next month, and she wasn't sure if she could attend. Su Ying then arrived with Jiang Dong, which surprised Lele. She asked Jiang Dong about the identity of the "Anatomy Diary" killer, and Jiang Dong said she would find out in due time. However, Lele still felt down and expressed her fear of not making it until that time. Jiang Dong offered her encouragement and even invited Lele to be a special guest at the book signing event, which made Lele very happy.

Mi Bai talked to Yang Zhengwen to learn more about the congenital heart disease exchange conference. After the meeting, Director Ruan asked Mi Bai and Qin Yunsheng about Lele's situation. Mi Bai had a suggestion and showed two tickets, saying they could attend the exchange conference to learn from the experience. Director Ruan agreed, and Qin Yunsheng had no choice but to go along with the plan. Su Ying helped Qin Yunsheng pack his things, and afterward, he left on a business trip with Mi Bai.

After checking into the hotel, Qin Yunsheng messaged Su Ying. Su Ying replied, informing him that she had handed the Jiang Dong case over to Tian Mei, which made Tian Mei very happy. In the evening, Yang Zhengwen called Tian Mei and mentioned that they had received a new batch of building materials for use. Tian Mei agreed.

Du Huixuan came to see Su Ying and talked about her future work plans. As they spoke, Su Ying suddenly realized that tomorrow would mark her and Qin Yunsheng's six-month anniversary. She recalled that before Qin Yunsheng left, he mentioned that the day after tomorrow would be a good day, and it dawned on her.

At the exchange conference, Qin Yunsheng learned a lot. He asked Mi Bai why Professor Chen didn't attend today, and Mi Bai explained that Professor Chen had some prior commitments, and the closed-door meeting might be postponed. Qin Yunsheng asked if there was anything wrong, and Mi Bai invited him to join her for the evening banquet, suggesting that Professor Chen might still come. Qin Yunsheng agreed. However, at the evening banquet, Professor Chen didn't show up, and many people approached Mi Bai to chat. Mi Bai had a lot to drink, and Qin Yunsheng helped her, as she couldn't find her room key. Qin Yunsheng had to assist her to his room, and he then called the hotel to get a new room key. When he stepped outside, Su Ying video-called him, and she noticed that he was outside. Qin Yunsheng explained the situation to Su Ying, and she believed him. Qin Yunsheng mentioned that he had to postpone his return, and Su Ying was understanding. They agreed to have a video date.

The next day, Mi Bai dragged Qin Yunsheng to buy a gift for Professor Chen. Qin Yunsheng reluctantly agreed but left midway to have a video call with Su Ying. While they were having a sweet meal together, Mi Bai joined them again. Qin Yunsheng wanted to persuade her to leave, but Su Ying intervened and allowed Mi Bai to stay, ending the call herself.

Du Huixuan encountered a shady intermediary, someone claiming to be the landlord who wanted to evict her shortly after paying rent. A conflict ensued, but Xu Mingshi arrived just in time to rescue her. Du Huixuan asked him why he came, and Xu Mingshi explained that Su Ying had informed him.
