Du Huixuan and Xu Mingshi went downstairs and happened to meet Xu Mingshi's client, Weiw, whom they started chatting with. Xu Mingshi recommended Du Huixuan to help Weiw with advertising and promotion, and Weiw agreed. Weiw also mentioned some work-related matters with Xu Mingshi, so he bid farewell to Du Huixuan and left with Weiw.

Qin Yunsheng's phone ran out of battery, so he left it in the room to charge. Meanwhile, Mi Bai arrived with Professor Chen, and Qin Yunsheng left with them, leaving his phone in the hotel. They discussed Lele's case with Professor Chen, and Mi Bai suggested moving the closed-door meeting to today, which Professor Chen agreed to. Qin Yunsheng realized he had a commitment with Su Ying that evening and wanted to grab his phone. Only then did he realize he had forgotten it, so he asked Mi Bai to send a message to Su Ying, apologizing for the meeting with Professor Chen and telling her not to wait for him. Mi Bai hesitated but decided not to send the message. After arriving at the cinema, Su Ying tried to contact Qin Yunsheng but received no response. She felt disappointed as she watched the sweet couples around her. After the event, Mi Bai went to the restroom, and Professor Chen mentioned that it was Mi Bai who said they were busy lately and suggested postponing the sharing session. Qin Yunsheng was shocked to hear this. When they returned to the hotel, Qin Yunsheng immediately called Su Ying. She complained, but Qin Yunsheng explained that he had asked Mi Bai to convey the message. Su Ying was confused and denied it. Qin Yunsheng explained the situation, and Su Ying forgave him. Qin Yunsheng approached Mi Bai and talked about these two incidents, hinting that Mi Bai had crossed some boundaries. He emphasized that Su Ying was his girlfriend. Mi Bai apologized, and Qin Yunsheng accepted the apology before saying he would be leaving tonight. Mi Bai bade him farewell with a sense of loss.

The next day, Su Ying was very happy to see Qin Yunsheng at her doorstep. Qin Yunsheng told her that he would be moving soon, which surprised Su Ying. Mi Bai returned to the dormitory, saw Qin Yunsheng's belongings, and asked him about it. Qin Yunsheng said he was moving to the glass house, but Mi Bai pointed out that it wasn't suitable for living. Su Ying intervened and invited Qin Yunsheng to stay at her place, which surprised him. Mi Bai left feeling sad and angry. Qin Yunsheng and Su Ying began their sweet cohabitation. At the hospital, Qin Yunsheng tried to avoid being with Mi Bai as much as possible. Mi Bai and Director Ruan discussed Qin Yunsheng's wish to build a charity hospital. Mi Bai appeared thoughtful.

Jiang Dong called Su Ying and mentioned the color-changing bricks in the new project, which he liked. Su Ying was puzzled because her proposal didn't include color-changing bricks. Jiang Dong said that Tian Mei showed them to him, and he was very satisfied. Su Ying reluctantly agreed. She called Tian Mei and criticized her for making decisions on her own, but eventually, she had to accept the proposal. Tian Mei messaged Yang Zhengwen, reporting the situation, and reminded him not to forget their agreement. Yang Zhengwen received the message and instructed his assistant to assign a project to Tian Mei and to slow down the color-changing brick project. Su Ying received a message from Yang Zhengwen but called him when he pretended not to have seen it. Yang Zhengwen said he might have a client where Su Ying was, and suggested that she accompany him to buy something for the client, promising to share some with her. Su Ying reluctantly agreed.

Du Huixuan, Xu Mingshi, and Weiw had a tea meeting to discuss the project. Xu Mingshi seemed to know Weiw well and later excused himself, leaving the two to work together. While Du Huixuan was helping Weiw with a video, she accidentally broke a vase and messaged Xu Mingshi for help. Weiw started blaming Du Huixuan, but Xu Mingshi arrived with the same type of flowers, diffusing the situation. On the way, Du Huixuan thanked Xu Mingshi, and he explained his relationship with Weiw, suggesting they watch a soccer match at Du Huixuan's place that evening, to which she agreed.

Mi Bai watched a video left by her sister and learned that she confessed her feelings to Qin Yunsheng on Mi Bai's behalf, realizing that her sister did it for her. Mi Bai also realized her own feelings for Qin Yunsheng and felt indebted to her sister. After closing the video, Mi Bai believed that Su Ying was not worthy of Qin Yunsheng and began doing something with her phone.

Du Huixuan and Xu Mingshi excitedly watched the soccer match together, and while looking at Xu Mingshi's profile, Du Huixuan called his name and said she had something to tell him.
