Su Ying pretended to casually notice Qin Yunsheng and greeted him, asking why he was here. Qin Yunsheng replied that he had come to see her, expressing concern for her health. He inquired if she had eaten breakfast, to which Su Ying replied that she hadn't. Qin Yunsheng then took her to the cafeteria. As they walked, a nurse approached them and mentioned the kissing video. This was the first time Qin Yunsheng learned about it. The gossip-loving nurse asked if they were together, and to spare Su Ying any embarrassment, Qin Yunsheng denied it, claiming it was just a game. Su Ying, feeling dejected upon hearing this, made an excuse and left.

In an attempt to gauge Qin Yunsheng's attitude towards her, Su Ying posted a beautiful picture of herself and Du Huixuan on her social media and captioned it with "The happiness of two single women." Qin Yunsheng, upon seeing the post, felt distressed. Zhang Yisen informed Hai Ge about the portrait of Su Ying that was gifted to Qin Yunsheng, and Hai Ge gave him two matching couple shirts as a gesture for Qin Yunsheng to reciprocate. Upon seeing the social media post, Qin Yunsheng's smile disappeared.

The next day, Su Ying asked Xu Mingshi to help deliver portraits she had drawn to other doctors at the hospital, but notably, Qin Yunsheng's portrait was missing. Qin Yunsheng inquired about Su Ying's situation with Xu Mingshi, who opened WeChat and saw the post, leading to a misunderstanding. He sighed heavily. Back in the design studio, Xu Mingshi approached Du Huixuan discreetly to ask about the situation. Du Huixuan seemed troubled about her impaired social interactions after drinking alcohol, which Xu Mingshi mistakenly thought was about himself. Su Ying, in a hurry, asked Xu Mingshi. Upon seeing the portrait, Qin Yunsheng's reaction (or lack thereof) disappointed Su Ying. Qin Yunsheng, using the excuse of conducting an environmental test, wanted to invite Su Ying to a glass house. Su Ying played hard to get, making excuses for the others to go ahead while she observed secretly. She also asked Xu Mingshi to bring back a tulip. Qin Yunsheng wanted to go directly to the company to find Su Ying and, while on the phone, Su Ying, who overheard his urgency, tried to escape but got caught in a fishing net on the ground. She struggled to get free, leaving one of her shoes behind. Qin Yunsheng noticed her silhouette, approached her, and found the abandoned shoe. In the office, Su Ying pretended to be exercising barefoot, and Qin Yunsheng struck up a conversation. He then handed her the shoe directly, causing Su Ying to freeze and awkwardly smile.

In the upcoming meeting, two designers are to present their design reports for Wang Zili's seaside property. Su Ying presented her plan first, emphasizing the use of budget-friendly materials. Su Ziyang then significantly lowered his own design fees, pleasing Wang Zili, much to Su Ying's disbelief. Xu Mingshi made several work-related mistakes, and when questioned by Su Ying, he began talking about his personal issues. Su Ying realized he was referring to Du Huixuan and offered him some advice. The design studio team arranged for Du Huixuan to sing at a KTV gathering. Xu Mingshi sang a love song and interacted with Du Huixuan. Meanwhile, Su Ying posted on social media to attract Qin Yunsheng's attention. As expected, Qin Yunsheng reacted, and their interactions were filled with tension. He went straight to the private room afterward. After the event, Qin Yunsheng and Su Ying sat on the steps, chatted, and had a drink. They both shared their recent inner conflicts, resolved their issues, and reconciled. Xu Mingshi drove Du Huixuan back, and during the ride, he understood that she was talking about Peter Liu, the man who confessed to her. While relieved, he wanted to ask about his own confession but hesitated.

Su Ying recorded the second episode of the show, and Qin Yunsheng saw the encouragement she gave to him in it, which made him smile. In the evening, Qin Yunsheng struggled to complete a maze game but finally succeeded. He messaged Su Ying, asking her for a wish and suggesting dinner together. Su Ying claimed to have a lot of work and business trips, making excuses to avoid the invitation, which left Qin Yunsheng feeling frustrated. Zhang Yisen pried into Qin Yunsheng and Su Ying's relationship, and Qin Yunsheng shared everything with him. Zhang Yisen advised him to be more proactive, but Qin Yunsheng couldn't handle the conversation and left.

Su Ying was busy designing Wang Zili's seaside property. Director Ruan wanted Qin Yunsheng to give a lecture to students. Initially, Qin Yunsheng intended to delegate this task to Zhang Yisen, but upon seeing that the location was "Donglin," he immediately changed his mind and decided to seize this opportunity himself. After arriving in Donglin, he posted a social media update with his location. When he saw Su Ying liked the post, he promptly messaged her.
