Qin Yunsheng saw that Su Ying had liked his social media post and messaged her. They arranged to have supper together. Su Ying observed Qin Yunsheng eating shrimp and found his technique reminiscent of a surgical procedure. She showed him her method of peeling shrimp, but while doing so, her hair fell down. Qin Yunsheng helped her adjust her hair and even tied it up for her at her request. Su Ying peeled a shrimp for Qin Yunsheng. They then took a walk, and Qin Yunsheng offered his coat to Su Ying. By the seaside, Su Ying had new ideas for the design of the seaside property, making her very happy.

Su Ying also attended Qin Yunsheng's lecture. During the Q&A session, Su Ying stood up and asked him for his phone number, to which Qin Yunsheng replied that he'd give it to her after class, causing a commotion among their classmates. On the way back, Su Ying intentionally pretended to take the wrong route to prolong their time together. Qin Yunsheng played along, and they continued to move farther away from their homes.

In the car, Xu Mingshi pretended to feel unwell in an attempt to gain Du Huixuan's concern, which worked as she asked him about his condition. When they arrived at the restaurant, Du Huixuan ordered several dishes, and because there was only one serving of coconut pudding left, she suggested they share it. Xu Mingshi was delighted.

Su Ying organized her new ideas for the seaside property and messaged her colleagues to have a meeting the following morning. Possibly due to catching a cold the previous night, Su Ying kept sneezing. The next morning, Qin Yunsheng called Su Ying and heard her sneezing. He asked if she had caught a cold, and Su Ying admitted she might have. Qin Yunsheng suggested that she shouldn't go to work today but should rest. Su Ying agreed and promised to follow the doctor's advice. After hanging up, Xu Mingshi called Su Ying and asked if they were still having the meeting today. Su Ying replied that they were but that the location had changed to her home. The team worked diligently, and Qin Yunsheng called Su Ying once again. Su Ying lied, saying she had been resting the whole time. Qin Yunsheng mentioned that he was almost at her doorstep, causing Su Ying to panic. The team hurriedly reorganized the workspace into a resting area, and Qin Yunsheng suggested examining Su Ying's health in her room. The others greeted Qin Yunsheng and discreetly left. Although Cai Chen realized he had left some samples in the room before departing, there was no way to rectify it. Su Ying lifted the blanket, revealing the samples, then hurriedly covered them up again. After Qin Yunsheng hung an IV drip for Su Ying, she urged him to return to the hospital. He claimed to have taken leave and thus stayed with Su Ying. Recognizing something was amiss, Qin Yunsheng lifted the blanket, discovered the samples, and looked at Su Ying with anger. However, he quickly regained his composure, poured water for Su Ying, and personally fed her. Su Ying promised to give Qin Yunsheng a small gift after they finished their work, and they started chatting.

Su Ying took Qin Yunsheng to a glass workshop and gave him a glass house model, which he loved. They went for a walk by the sea and encountered Yang Zhengwen. Yang Zhengwen greeted Su Ying, and there was a somewhat awkward atmosphere. After giving Qin Yunsheng a glance, Yang Zhengwen left.

In another meeting, Wang Zili appeared via video call to save on travel expenses. Su Ziyang offered a very low price to win the project and even got Wang Zili's approval for Su Ying's design proposal. This led to the implementation of Su Ying's plan. Su Ziyang's assistant arranged for the customization of thinner water-patterned glass.

In the evening, Su Ying shared the story of running into her first love from six years ago. Du Huixuan inquired about Qin Yunsheng's reaction, and Su Ying revealed that Qin Yunsheng didn't ask much about it. Qin Yunsheng and Zhang Yisen showed off their glass house model, leaving Zhang Yisen speechless. Qin Yunsheng then arranged to paint the glass house together with Su Ying, who agreed.

Today, a new sponsor, Tiandi Building Materials, wanted to meet with two designers. Su Ying discovered that one of the representatives was Yang Zhengwen. After the meeting, Su Ying told Du Huixuan about it, but Du Huixuan suspected that Yang Zhengwen's sponsorship might be related to Su Ying. However, Su Ying didn't care much and was more focused on Qin Yunsheng.

Director Ruan wanted Qin Yunsheng to host a charity event, and he agreed. During the inspection of the seaside property, there was an unexpected breakage of the water-patterned glass, and Wang Zili collapsed. Qin Yunsheng asked Su Ying for advice on a charity auction. While he was on the phone, Su Ying received a call from Du Huixuan.
