The messenger found the information about the day the letter was delivered and also recalled that A Fu was the one who delivered it, as the letter was decorated beautifully. The messenger clearly remembered that the letter had been sent to the capital, and a high-ranking official was there to receive it. Although they had uncovered a lead, Sun Weiyan was still troubled because Guo Zijie's father had once been a high-ranking official, and he likely had acquaintances in the capital.

The note contained a rebellious poem. To confirm her suspicions, Cao Xuanxuan took everyone to meet someone—Zhou Shaoliang. They all gathered their clues and analyzed them together.
