Kou Yanjie swiftly gathered some men and rode in the direction where Shu Yanan was heading, chasing after her.

Lord Fu's spy was unclear about what he was doing, so Su Mingyu showed them the military supplies he had purchased. The spy thought that Su Mingyu was selling his assets to win Lord Fu's favor and gain a minor official position, thus relaxing their vigilance.

Ke Menglan quietly handed over the accumulated silver to Tianhu, a member of the Ji Shan Tang. She instructed Tianhu to take good care of the children and advised him not to visit or inquire about the Su family, regardless of any future events. Tianhu understood from Ke Menglan's eyes that something was about to happen. With Jin Biao's sudden death, Tianhu matured overnight. He nodded, promising to prioritize the overall situation.

Shu Yanan and Yun Xiang escorted Kou Yan's coffin towards the direction of Nan Du. When they reached the riverside, they ordered the team to halt. Before long, Kou Yanjie caught up with them. Finally, after taking care of Kou Yan's affairs, night fell. Shu Yanan stood by her mother's grave, feeling a sense of peace and tranquility.
