Tang San asked Yu Xiaogang how he knew he was here. Yu Xiaogang explained that he had overheard the Crown Prince mention a disciple of the Clear Sky Clan who had acquired the Malevolent God Domain and instinctively felt it was Tang San. He then inquired about Xiao Wu's whereabouts. Tang San replied that Xiao Wu had returned to the Star Dou Forest, and until he met his father’s expectations, he couldn’t go looking for her.

He expressed his anger, blaming Spirit Hall for separating them. Tang San’s emotional outburst made Yu Xiaogang sigh, remarking that while Tang San had grown stronger in the City of Hell, he had also been affected by its aura. Not only was he influenced by the killing intent, but he was also burdened by too many concerns, leading to impatience. That was why Tang San had been sent here to refine his temperament.

Tang San admitted that he was anxious because Xiao Wu was in the process of converting her soul ring, and he felt helpless, which was why he wanted to find her as soon as possible. Yu Xiaogang advised Tang San to use Blue Silver Grass to support Xiao Wu in achieving co-cultivation. He planned to test this person, as those who acquired the Malevolent God Domain were rumored to be easily angered and battle-hungry. When Tang Yuehua and Tang San received the invitation, they realized it was a test for Tang San.

Tang Yuehua told Tang San that if he could pass this test, it would prove he was ready to meet his father. At the banquet, the Crown Prince invited Tang San to play a piece on the zither. However, the Fourth Prince interjected, stating that he had heard Tang San play before at Yue Xuan and thought his skills were poor.

He even mocked Tang Yuehua, calling her a mere lady-in-waiting recruited by his father, doubting she could teach anything worthwhile. Tang San calmly responded that since the Crown Prince had invited him, he couldn’t refuse. The Crown Prince ordered the Fourth Prince to be taken away. The Crown Prince then used a spirit master proficient in musical combat to launch a soundwave attack at Tang San through their performance. However, Tang San didn’t retaliate directly.

Instead, he adapted the melody and incorporated their attack into his variation, neutralizing the assault. After the performance, the Crown Prince praised him and invited Tang San to stay and serve the Heaven Dou Imperial Court. Tang San declined, stating that he valued his freedom and was only at Yue Xuan temporarily, as he would soon be leaving.

Tang San bid farewell to his aunt, commenting that the Fourth Prince didn’t seem to be making things difficult for him but rather appeared to intentionally help him by deflecting the Crown Prince’s probing. Tang Yuehua assured him that she would continue to keep an eye on the Fourth Prince. Tang San told her that he had someone he deeply cared for and needed to meet his father’s expectations quickly so he could reunite with her.

With reluctance, Tang Yuehua saw Tang San off, promising to wait for him at the clan. Ning Fengzhi noticed that his daughter, Ning Rongrong, had been unhappy ever since Oscar left. To cheer her up, he personally cooked tomato and egg noodles for her. He admitted that he regretted being too strict and following the clan’s rules. Meanwhile, Oscar was training with a team but encountered trouble. Some team members coveted his weapon and tried to steal it while he was asleep.

When Oscar caught them, he decided to leave the group. Unwilling to let him go, they pursued Oscar deep into the mountains. Suddenly, a ferocious beast appeared, scaring the group into fleeing. One of the injured members, hurt by Oscar’s weapon, desperately begged Oscar to help him escape. In the end, Oscar softened his heart and helped the injured person leave the danger zone.
