Tang San went to the valley to find Tang Hao, only to discover that his father had broken both his arms and legs. Furious, he demanded to know who had hurt him so badly. Tang Hao calmly explained that he had done it to himself. After leaving Yue Xuan, he had shattered the limbs that had fused with his spirit bones. While this came at a significant cost, it was his choice.

His current spirit power level had dropped to 75. As for why he did it, Tang Hao said it was time for Tang San to learn the truth about what had happened in the past. Tang Hao revealed that he had once been chosen by his father to lead the Clear Sky Clan to greatness. While training outside with his older brother, they encountered Tang San's mother, Ah Yin, being pursued by a group of men.

The two of them stepped in to protect her and discovered that Ah Yin had stolen disaster relief gold coins from those men and returned them to the victims. Tang Hao invited Ah Yin to train with them, and during this time, the two fell in love, earning a reputation together. Tang Hao’s older brother later left to handle matters at the clan.

Ah Yin eventually confessed to Tang Hao that she was a 100,000-year-old Blue Silver Emperor spirit beast approaching maturity. At the time, Tang Hao was already a Spirit Douluo. The two got married and planned to return to the Clear Sky Clan. However, on their way, they were intercepted by people from Spirit Hall, who demanded that Tang Hao hand over Ah Yin.

Tang Hao and Ah Yin joined forces to defeat a Title Douluo from Spirit Hall, but this confrontation made it impossible for them to return to the clan. Tang Hao realized Spirit Hall would surely target the Clear Sky Clan in retaliation, and his father, already gravely ill, passed away from anger and grief. With Ah Yin pregnant, they decided to stay in hiding until their child was born and plan their next steps.

Ah Yin gave birth to their child and named him Tang San. However, Qian Xunji, one of Spirit Hall's supreme elders, found them and demanded that Tang Hao hand over Ah Yin. Tang Hao vowed to protect his wife at all costs but was outnumbered and severely injured. Ah Yin stepped forward and revealed her true identity as the Blue Silver Emperor, a 100,000-year-old spirit beast with the Blue Silver Domain.

She explained that as the Blue Silver Emperor, her spirit was eternal and could not be killed unless she willingly gave her life. She told Qian Xunji that it was impossible for him to extract her spirit ring and spirit bone unless she chose to offer them willingly. She then struck a deal: if Qian Xunji let Tang Hao and their child go, she would sacrifice herself and give him her spirit ring and spirit bone. Qian Xunji agreed.

However, Ah Yin chose to sacrifice herself in a different way—offering herself as Tang Hao's ninth spirit ring. She told Tang Hao that she was happy to have loved him in this life and asked him not to grieve, promising to always be with him. Her body then dissolved and fused with Tang Hao. Overcome with grief, Tang Hao watched helplessly as Ah Yin disappeared. Enraged, he defeated Qian Xunji.

Not long after, Qian Xunji died of an illness, but Spirit Hall blamed the Clear Sky Clan for his death. Tang Hao's older brother decided, for the sake of the clan, to expel Tang Hao and announce the clan's withdrawal from the world. Tang Hao explained that he had broken his own limbs to give Ah Yin a chance to reshape her form.

He gave Tang San the spirit bone Ah Yin had left behind and told him to absorb it. After fusing with the spirit bone, Tang San’s power grew significantly, bringing Tang Hao great joy. However, Tang San felt deep sorrow seeing his father’s broken arms and legs. Tang Hao reassured him, saying that he wouldn’t die. His previous ailments had already been life-threatening, but breaking his own limbs had forced those lingering illnesses into his severed limbs.

For now, his life was no longer in immediate danger, and he could live a few more years. He expressed his hope to see Tang San lead the Clear Sky Clan to glory once more. Tang San vowed not only to restore the clan’s former glory but also to avenge his parents. Tang Hao, however, cautioned him. He explained that his purpose in sharing the past was not to encourage revenge.

He warned Tang San that when powerful individuals pursue their goals recklessly, they can bring tremendous disaster to the world—just as he and Qian Xunji had done. Tang San insisted that Tang Hao had done nothing wrong and placed the blame solely on Qian Xunji and Spirit Hall. Tang Hao replied that Tang San had yet to understand what he truly meant but would one day grasp the true meaning of being a strong individual.
