Zhu Zhuqing pleaded for their spirits to remain intact, but the emperor grew angry, stating that he had already compromised multiple times. He emphasized that these ancestral laws were established to protect the royal authority of Star Luo, and they must be upheld.

Ma Hongjun then questioned, “What if the sole crown prince were captured or killed? Wouldn't that be a devastating loss for the Star Luo royal family? ” The emperor responded confidently that the crown prince was always protected by elite guards. Ma Hongjun pressed further, “But what if something unexpected happens? ”Dai Mubai joined in, explaining that his older brother’s excellence had shaped him into who he was today.

Sibling rivalry didn’t always have to end in conflict—it could also lead to mutual support. The emperor, contemplating their arguments, decided to give them a chance. If the four of them—Dai Mubai, Zhu Zhuqing, Davis, and Zhu Zhuyun—could work together and defeat him, he would reconsider. He allowed Ma Hongjun to join their team as well. In a grueling battle, the four of them managed to injure the emperor in the final moments.

Shocked, the emperor realized a new possibility: the ancestral laws didn’t have to focus solely on conflict—they could also be used to foster strength through unity. Moved by this revelation, he decided to let the four of them lead Star Luo into the future together. Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing mentioned their agreement with their friends to reunite at Shrek Academy in five years.

The Star Luo Emperor reminded them that Heaven Dou was currently in turmoil and advised them to stay vigilant during their journey. Upon returning to Shrek Academy, Dai Mubai, Zhu Zhuqing, and Ma Hongjun were stopped at the entrance by junior students. At that moment, Ning Rongrong also arrived, using her Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda to confirm her identity. Liu Erlong, the headmaster, and Yu Xiaogang came out to welcome them.

Everyone noticed Oscar’s absence and asked Ning Rongrong about him, but she replied that she wasn’t sure if he would make it back. Meanwhile, Oscar had encountered a dire situation. He and his companions had stumbled upon a head spirit bone, but the Gale Wolf sought to kill them and claim it. In the end, Oscar managed to turn the tables and defeat the Gale Wolf.

Oscar’s companion, aware of his longing to reunite with his beloved, decided to give him the head spirit bone, believing it would help him return sooner. At Shrek Academy, the headmaster asked about their current spirit power levels. Dai Mubai revealed that he had reached level 63, Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong were at level 61, and Ma Hongjun was at level 57. The headmaster speculated about the levels of the remaining Shrek Seven Devils.

He guessed that Oscar, fueled by the power of love, was likely at level 58, and Xiao Wu, cultivating in the Star Dou Forest with its abundant spiritual energy, was likely at level 59. Liu Erlong even wagered that Xiao Wu might have already reached level 60. As they talked, the lights dimmed, and they suddenly found themselves in the spirit battle arena.

The students teased the headmaster, saying he was trying to squeeze every ounce of fame out of the Shrek Seven Devils. The headmaster explained that their championship win at the Spirit Master Tournament had greatly boosted the academy’s reputation, bringing in a steady stream of new students. Now that they were back, it was time for them to showcase their strength in a demonstration match. During the match, Tang San returned and joined the fight.

Everyone’s strength had improved significantly, and even the teachers went all out against them. In the end, noticing that the teachers were getting serious, the Shrek Seven Devils voluntarily admitted defeat. The headmaster praised them for their prudence. The headmaster noticed changes in Tang San’s Blue Silver Grass spirit. Yu Xiaogang explained to everyone that Tang San’s spirit had undergone a second evolution. The group was astonished, as they didn’t know spirit evolution was possible.

Tang San shared his experiences over the past five years, and everyone was moved by his journey. Zhu Zhuqing brought up the fact that Spirit Hall had been searching for Xiao Wu relentlessly over the past year. Yu Xiaogang noted that Spirit Hall’s attempts had failed and even triggered retaliation from a beast tide, forcing them to retreat from the Star Dou Forest. Zhu Zhuqing asked if Xiao Wu would have to continue hiding indefinitely.

Tang San reassured her that once Xiao Wu reached maturity, she would be able to conceal her aura, even from Titled Douluo. Tang San admitted that he had planned to find Xiao Wu first, but since it was time for their reunion, he came to the academy to ensure everyone’s safety. Upon hearing this, the group urged him to hurry and find Xiao Wu. They eagerly anticipated the day he would return with her, so they could reunite as a complete group.
