When Dugu Bo learned that the emperor had entrusted the Tiger Talisman to Yu Xiaogang, he happily reported it to the Fourth Prince. He believed that the Crown Prince would no longer have the energy to focus on them and, due to his concerns, wouldn’t harm the emperor further. The Fourth Prince thought that Dugu Bo had already prepared an antidote, but Dugu Bo admitted he couldn’t detoxify the poison himself.

However, if a close friend of his agreed to help, curing the emperor wouldn’t be an issue. Crown Prince Xue Qinghe appointed General Ge Long as a co-trainer with Yu Xiaogang to oversee the Spirit Master Legion. Xue Qinghe explained that while Xiaogang had been appointed as the Imperial Advisor in a moment of crisis, the heavy responsibilities of the Heaven Dou Empire still required dependable pillars like Ge Long.

Ge Long dismissed Xiaogang as a weak scholar with low spirit power and no battlefield experience, claiming the emperor had grown senile to entrust him with the Tiger Talisman. Ge Long was confident he could force Xiaogang out and reclaim the talisman, intending to give it to the Crown Prince.

Ge Long insulted Xiaogang, but Xiaogang presented the token given to him by the emperor, asserting that it was not up to Ge Long to decide whether he was fit for the position. Xiaogang pointed out that the slow progress in the Spirit Master Legion’s cultivation over the years was due to uniform, indiscriminate training methods. He explained that at Shrek Academy, training plans were tailored to each individual, which was far more effective.

After Spirit Hall destroyed the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan and the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, Bi Bi Dong ordered her people to search the Star Dou Forest for the 100,000-year spirit beast, the Soft-Boned Rabbit Xiao Wu. Tang San, upon seeing Spirit Hall members scouring the forest for Xiao Wu, became extremely worried and tried to use his Blue Silver Grass to warn her.

However, Er Ming mistook him for an intruder and struck him, inflicting severe mental damage. Tang San coughed up blood and fell unconscious, only to be discovered by Spirit Hall. Hu Liena recognized him as Tang Yin, the man she had been searching for. When Tang San woke up, he claimed he had severed ties with the Clear Sky Clan and had been accidentally injured by a spirit beast. Both Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo were skeptical of his story.

Tang San, not wanting to expose Xiao Wu, decided to feign loyalty and stay with their group. Hu Liena revealed that Tang Yin had once saved her life in the City of Hell and pleaded with the others not to harm him. Chrysanthemum Douluo persuaded Hu Liena to convince Tang Yin to join Spirit Hall, hoping to extract information about the Clear Sky Clan through him.

Tang San later learned that Spirit Hall had locked onto Xiao Wu’s location, which deeply worried him. To mislead them, he fabricated a false direction, but Ghost Douluo saw through his ruse, pointing out that the mental attack he suffered could not have been caused by the Soft-Boned Rabbit. Spirit Hall decided to take action against Tang San. At the critical moment, Xiao Wu appeared and lured Spirit Hall’s people away. Tang San followed her.

After five years apart, Tang San finally saw Xiao Wu again. She was accompanied by two 100,000-year spirit beasts, Da Ming and Er Ming, who were too powerful for Spirit Hall’s group to handle. Xiao Wu accused Spirit Hall of causing beast tides in the Star Dou Forest in their search for her and vowed to avenge the fallen spirit beasts.

Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo, realizing they couldn’t defeat Da Ming and Er Ming, used a fusion skill to temporarily restrain them, directing the rest to capture Xiao Wu. Seeing Xiao Wu in danger, Tang San intervened, fighting Spirit Hall’s members. Hu Liena was shocked by his actions and questioned his motives. During the fight, Tang San’s mask was shattered, revealing his true identity as Tang San.

Hu Liena, stunned, was injured and knocked unconscious when Tang San struck her against a rock. Tang San and Xiao Wu worked together to evade Spirit Hall’s pursuit. Xiao Wu led Tang San to an abandoned snake den, where she was distressed to see his injuries and insisted on applying medicine for him. Tang San reassured her that they were minor wounds and explained that the spirit bone in his right leg, left by his mother, had self-healing properties.

Xiao Wu was amazed to learn that Tang San’s mother was the Blue Silver Emperor, a plant-type spirit beast. She lamented how difficult it was for plant-type spirit beasts to reach 100,000 years and take human form, and she felt sorrowful upon learning of his mother’s sacrifice. Tang San explained that his mother had chosen to sacrifice herself to protect him and his father.

Xiao Wu remarked that his mother must have deeply loved his father, to which Tang San replied that this love was the reason his father had fallen into despair. Xiao Wu was surprised to hear that Hu Liena had spared Tang San and even allowed him to stay with their group.

She warned Tang San to stay away from Hu Liena in the future, fearing that once Hu Liena discovered he had deceived her, she would lose control and harm him. Tang San was touched by Xiao Wu’s concern for him. Tang San then gave Xiao Wu a Soft-Boned Rabbit he had woven using his martial spirit. Transforming the Blue Silver Grass bracelet into a ring, he proposed to Xiao Wu, hoping they could stay together forever and never part ways.
