The Land of Warriors Episode 28 Recap
> The Land of Warriors Recap
Yang Wudi, aware that the poisoned individual was in critical condition, expressed his desire to see the patient personally. He believed that, with the Yang family’s medical skills, there might still be a chance to save the person. However, Tang San told him that the individual was not someone they could meet freely and refrained from elaborating further.
Yang Wudi admitted he had only a sixty percent chance of developing an antidote, so he quickly set out to begin his research. The nobles of the Heaven Dou Empire gathered to meet Crown Prince Xue Qinghe, requesting that he bring the Fourth Prince, Xue Beng, back for a public trial. They argued that there was no concrete evidence proving Xue Beng had poisoned Emperor Xue Ye, aside from Xue Qinghe’s claims, which made it difficult to convince everyone.
The nobles appealed to the Crown Prince to consider their brotherly bond and refrain from ordering Xue Beng's execution. Reluctantly, Xue Qinghe agreed to capture Xue Beng and have him confess in person. Porcupine Douluo, who overheard the nobles' doubts, proposed killing those disobedient officials. However, Xue Qinghe rejected the idea, explaining that those officials were the pillars of Heaven Dou Empire and could not be removed yet.
He lamented that, despite appearing to hold power, military authority was beyond his grasp, and the nobles were not fully united under him. Only by having Xue Beng confess in person could Xue Qinghe truly solidify his rule. Bai He brought out the dowry he had prepared for his granddaughter, Bai Chenxiang. Given the Tang Sect's current difficulties, he decided to offer these resources to Tang San.
However, when Bai Chenxiang delivered the box to Tang San, he politely declined, expressing gratitude for his great-uncle's kindness and assuring them that he would ask for help if necessary. Left with no choice, Bai Chenxiang took the box back. Later, Tang San and his companions planned to visit Gengxin City for supplies. Ma Hongjun suggested taking Bai Chenxiang along.
Tang San told Bai Chenxiang that he was her cousin and asked her to prepare to join them on the trip to Gengxin City. Before their departure, Yu Xiaogang came to see Tang San. Learning about their plans, he handed Tang San an Elder Token from Spirit Hall. Yu Xiaogang explained that Tang Hao had entrusted him with the token when sending Tang San to Nuoding Academy, hoping it would help him care for Tang San.
Yu Xiaogang encouraged Tang San to pursue the person he truly wanted to become rather than striving to live up to his father’s expectations. In the Star Luo and Heaven Dou Empires, blacksmiths were not highly regarded. However, Gengxin City, known as the Steel City, was a hub for blacksmiths, where their status was relatively elevated. During a conversation, they noted that Tang Hao himself was a divine craftsman. This thought saddened Tang San as he remembered his father.
Sensing Tang San’s unhappiness, Xiao Wu tried to divert his attention, joking that if he didn’t help her train, her body would deteriorate from inactivity since all she did now was eat and sleep. Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing returned to the Star Luo Palace, where the Star Luo Emperor warned them not to repeat the events involving the Elephant Armored Clan in Longxing City.
He stated that as long as the Elephant Armored Clan refrained from expanding recklessly, the Star Luo Empire would not interfere. Dai Mubai explained to the Emperor that Spirit Hall was behind these actions and urged for more rigorous training. After observing the royal soul masters' training methods, Zhu Zhuqing bluntly criticized them as outdated. She and Dai Mubai had seen Yu Xiaogang’s approach to training soul master troops and found it highly effective.
They proposed drafting a detailed training plan for the Emperor to review. Delighted by their initiative, the Star Luo Emperor decided to grant the command talisman for the soul master troops to the Crown Prince. In Gengxin City, Titan exposed a fraud who was impersonating one of Lou Gao’s disciples to deceive others. It turned out that the impostor was backed by Spirit Hall. Lou Gao’s real disciple, Si Long, arrived and recognized Titan.
Si Long informed the Spirit Hall members that Titan was one of the Four Divine Craftsmen and the Vice President of the Blacksmith Association, someone even Lou Gao would show respect to. However, the Spirit Hall members dismissed these credentials, declaring that anyone who offended Spirit Hall would face consequences. Titan used his soul power to drive them away. Si Long then introduced Tang San and Titan to Lou Gao, who was studying the Zhuge Crossbow.
Tang San revealed that he was the inventor of the Zhuge Crossbow but explained that the Tang Sect’s hidden weapons were not shared externally. If Lou Gao wished to learn how to make them, he would need to join the Tang Sect. Lou Gao, impressed, gave up his position as President of the Blacksmith Association and appointed Si Long as his successor. Lou Gao himself decided to join the Tang Sect.
