Tang San and his companions went to an auction to purchase rare materials, but unexpectedly encountered Miles there. Miles deliberately competed with them during the auction. Tang San used Lou Gao's forging platform to create a type of escape mechanism as a training exercise. Whenever Ning Rongrong tried to bid on something, Miles would intentionally outbid her at a higher price, aiming to ensure Tang San's group left empty-handed. Everyone was frustrated by Miles' behavior.

Tang San reassured them, saying their goal today wasn’t to win items but to make Miles pay the highest possible price for the treasures. The final auction item was an Eight-Treasure Wishful Soft Armor created by Lou Gao, with a starting price of 200,000 gold coins. Rongrong raised the bid to 1,000,000 gold coins, prompting Miles to outbid with 3,000,000 gold coins. One of Miles' subordinates reminded him that their budget for forging weapons for Spirit Hall was already tight.

Miles arrogantly replied that no one dared to demand money from Spirit Hall and instructed the auction house to deliver the item to him, telling them to seek payment directly from Spirit Hall. Tang San, not wanting to clash with Spirit Hall at the auction, held back. When they returned, Lou Gao was furious upon hearing what had happened and wanted to confront Spirit Hall to reclaim his treasure. Tang San stopped him, saying they would handle it themselves.

Tang San and his companions infiltrated Spirit Hall and killed Miles, rescuing the blacksmiths who had been captured to forge weapons for Spirit Hall. When Tang San returned, he informed Lou Gao that the Spirit Hall branch in Gengxin City and Miles were gone for good. They also retrieved the wealth Miles had amassed over the years from exploiting the citizens of Gengxin City.

Oscar handed this fortune to Si Long, asking him to temporarily safeguard it and return it to the people when the opportunity arose. Bai Chenxiang and Ma Hongjun entrusted the young boy they had rescued to Si Long’s care. With their task complete, the group prepared to rush back to Heaven Dou to counter Bi Bi Dong’s next move. In the Sea of Spirit, Xiao Wu noticed that Tang San was being affected by his killing intent.

She reminded him to maintain a calm mindset and asked how he used to control it. Tang San explained that he used to play the zither to dispel his killing intent. Xiao Wu encouraged him to play again and focus on happy memories. Thinking of their shared experiences, Tang San gradually calmed down. He promised Xiao Wu that he wouldn’t let his killing intent take over, nor would it harm her.

While resting at the inn, the group decided to examine the Eight-Treasure Wishful Soft Armor. Even Ma Hongjun’s Phoenix Flame couldn’t damage it. Tang San declared that the treasure would be most suitable for Ning Rongrong and Oscar. However, Rongrong insisted on giving it to Xiao Wu, saying she needed it the most. Xiao Wu declined, expressing concern that she didn’t want to hold everyone back.

Oscar supported Rongrong, saying that if she had it, it was as good as him having it. In the end, the armor was entrusted to Ning Rongrong. News of the destruction of Spirit Hall’s branch in Gengxin City reached Hu Liena. Yan immediately wanted to seek out and kill Tang San, but Hu Liena stopped him.

She told Tang San that she would make him pay for what he had done when she had the chance. Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing returned to reunite with Tang San, bringing joy to everyone. Lou Gao officially joined the Tang Sect, much to the group's excitement. Tang San assigned Lou Gao to oversee the crafting of the Tang Sect’s advanced hidden weapons, promising to provide various blueprints. Lou Gao, thrilled, immediately headed to the forging room.

Tang San inquired with Bai He and learned that Spirit Hall had been gathering many spirit masters in the outskirts of the city. There were also reports of spirit masters frequently appearing near Shrek Academy and the new headquarters of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan. Realizing an intense battle was imminent, Tang San ordered the Tang Sect to be on high alert.
