Xiao Wu appeared and embraced Tang San, intercepting Qian Renxue's Sacred Sword. Xiao Wu was unharmed thanks to her Eight Treasures Wishful Soft Armor, which greatly surprised Qian Renxue. Xiao Wu realized that Qian Renxue's domain had already been broken by Tang San, leaving her nearly at her limit. Xiao Wu declared that if Qian Renxue wanted to deal with Tang San, she would have to defeat her first.

The rest of the Seven Devils stood up one after another, joining Tang San in preparing to face the enemy. At that moment, members of the Tang Sect arrived, having seen the sect's distress signal Tang San had sent. Bai He held back the guards, allowing Niu Gao and Titan to join the fight. Qian Renxue, now unable to use her spirit power, had no choice but to retreat with the Porcupinefish Douluo.

Tang San, overjoyed to see Xiao Wu in her physical form, was deeply moved. However, Xiao Wu had exhausted her spirit power and returned to rest within Tang San's spiritual sea. Tang San quickly urged everyone to return to Shrek Academy. Meanwhile, Hu Liena led members of the Spirit Hall to Shrek Academy, intending to capture Yu Xiaogang.

Knowing Yu Xiaogang was the soul of the Soul Master Corps, they believed capturing him would cause the Heavenly Soul Master's army to fall into chaos. However, Yu Xiaogang joined forces with Ning Fengzhi, Shrek Academy's headmaster, and Liu Erlong to defeat Hu Liena and her group. When Tang San and the others returned, they told Hu Liena they had already defeated Qian Renxue. Additionally, the Five Elders of the Tang Sect had surrounded the Spirit Hall's troops.

Unable to accept this failure, Hu Liena was persuaded by Chrysanthemum Douluo and others to retreat, recognizing their defeat. Qian Renxue, realizing she had lost both Xue Beng and Emperor Xue Ye, knew she could no longer return to the Heaven Dou royal family under the guise of the crown prince to vie for the throne. Reluctantly, she left with the Spirit Hall members.

Yang Wudi examined Emperor Xue Ye's condition and informed Xue Beng that the emperor had been severely poisoned. If an antidote could be developed within 12 hours, there was still a glimmer of hope. Yang Wudi assured him he would do his best. Xue Beng, suffering from the corrosive poison, was discovered by Yang Wudi, who asked who had poisoned him. Xue Beng revealed it was Imperial Physician Yang, who had also poisoned his father.

When Yang Wudi asked where the physician was, Xue Beng said he was being detained in the firewood room but refused to reveal the antidote's formula despite all threats and bribes. Yang Wudi went to the firewood room and found that Imperial Physician Yang was indeed his younger brother, Yang Wushuang. He asked Yang Wushuang why he had done this. Yang Wushuang explained that he wanted to destroy the Po Zhi Clan.

Years ago, when Spirit Hall sought the whereabouts of the Clear Sky Clan, Yang Wudi sacrificed him to protect the clan, leading to Yang Wushuang being captured by Spirit Hall. He endured endless suffering and humiliation, barely surviving, all for this moment. If Xue Qinghe (Qian Renxue) had succeeded, Yang Wudi would have been accused of being Xue Beng's accomplice, which would have resulted in the extermination of the Po Zhi Clan.

Yang Wushuang admitted he would not reveal the antidote for the Rainbow Poison but hinted that his blood, which he used to cultivate the poison within himself, was the key ingredient for the antidote. Yang Wudi told his brother that he intended to save not only Emperor Xue Ye but also him. Touched by Yang Wudi's words, Yang Wushuang asked if he could take him home.

Yang Wudi promised he would, but Yang Wushuang declared that he could not be saved and left his blood for the antidote before taking his own life. After Yang Wudi detoxified Emperor Xue Ye, the emperor woke up. Although the poison was neutralized, he only had three years left to live, during which he would be in frail health. Upon awakening, Emperor Xue Ye listened to Dugu Bo recount recent events.

He asked Yu Xiaogang about the Soul Master Corps' casualties and Qian Renxue's whereabouts. Upon learning that over half the corps had been lost and Qian Renxue had disappeared after killing all the Heaven Dou palace guards, the emperor was enraged. Yu Xiaogang advised him to prioritize his health. Emperor Xue Ye asked Ning Fengzhi to stay behind and requested him to use a secret technique to restore his body, even at the cost of his own life force.

The emperor felt immense guilt for allowing traitors to remain by his side, leading to the current chaos. He did not wish to leave this mess for Xue Beng to handle and thus decided to restore his strength to stabilize the situation. Ning Fengzhi warned him that the secret technique would be excruciatingly painful and that he would be lucky to live for half a year after using it. Emperor Xue Ye, laughing bitterly, still decided to proceed.

Afterward, Emperor Xue Ye formally declared war on Spirit Hall in his name. He expressed his hope that Xue Beng could complete this task in his stead if he did not survive. Upon returning to the Tang Sect, Tang San discovered that Qian Renxue had killed thirty members of the sect and left a message declaring war on him.
