After hearing the news of Sun Yunqian's death, Shen Jinghong questioned himself, wondering if he had made a mistake. He had promised to protect the Sun family, but he couldn't even save Sun Yunqian. Princess Rou Jia believed that the Sun family's fate was deserved, and as for his friend Sun Yunqian, she had left him a way out, but he chose to end his own life. She thought that death was a fitting end for the weak. Shen Jinghong asked her if she still remembered her initial intentions, and she replied that what she was doing now was to become the Empress and change the current situation. Shen Jinghong questioned why Sun Ru had to die while Zhou Cishan remained unharmed, and Princess Rou Jia told him it was a temporary measure, and Zhou would face consequences in due time.

Liu Yan found Princess Rou Jia and advised her to reconsider her path.
