Jiang Li's gaming mission was completed, and Xiao Pangya (Little Chubby) gave her three additional lives in the game. However, even with this, she couldn't be happy. She found this darn game too melancholic and wanted to end it, but she hesitated because of Shen Xiuning. Li Canglang felt immense guilt over Wanwan's death, and after burying her, he drowned his sorrows in alcohol. Shen Xiuning didn't know how to console him. When she tried to drink with him, he pushed her away.
Jiang Li went to find Shen Xiuning, seeing him pouring himself a drink. She decided to join him, and both of them ended up drinking too much. Fueled by passion, they shared their feelings and desires, eventually leading to a passionate kiss, and Jiang Li stayed the night in Shen Xiuning's room.
The next morning, Jiang Li, still feeling unsatisfied, discovered that Shen Xiuning was nowhere to be found. She suspected Xiao Pangya had something to do with it and called her out. Xiao Pangya presented her with another main quest and made it clear that after completing this quest, she could return to the real world.
According to the quest requirements, Jiang Li headed alone to Shen Xiuning's hometown, Shen Family Village. As she entered the village, she heard someone shouting for help near the village pond. Curious, she approached, but as soon as she reached the pond's edge, she was dragged into the water by the creature that had been calling for help. After sacrificing one game life, Jiang Li received a system notification congratulating her on initiating the main quest: "Weeping Bloodwater Monster."
