Upon reaching the room outside Yulou Chun's chambers, Li Lianhua quickly noticed that the hibiscus flowers were blooming particularly tall. As expected, they found the rest of Yulou Chun's body buried under the hibiscus. It turned out that Yulou Chun's cause of death was not murder by a person but rather snake venom. Now the question was: Bai Feng couldn't have done this alone, so which one of the guests was an accomplice?

However, when Li Lianhua and Fang Duobing found Bai Feng, she had already hanged herself, and everyone speculated that she had killed someone and was afraid of punishment. With everyone gathered, Fang Duobing turned the mysterious iron rack in Yulou Chun's room where items were stored and found several edges on the backside sharpened like blades – these were the edges used to dismember Yulou Chun.

Li Lianhua, Fang Duobing, and the amnesiac Di Feisheng gradually approached the truth. It turned out that Xi Fei, Bai Feng, Chi Long, and Murong Yao had conspired to kill Yulou Chun and manipulated the timeline to mislead everyone about the time of the crime, making the truth hard to unravel. It was revealed that all the girls in the female house had been harmed and forced to be captured by Yulou Chun, leading to their families' ruin and deaths. They had all wanted to avenge themselves and kill Yulou Chun every day, until they saw Murong Yao during this banquet. Murong Yao had been searching for the missing Chi Long for years, and upon their reunion, they quickly devised a plan to murder Yulou Chun, finally achieving their long-awaited revenge.

Chi Long took on all the blame and fiercely defended Murong Yao. However, Murong Yao tried to escape by pushing Chi Long in front of him to block the arrows, but Di Feisheng apprehended him
