Min Hui told Xin Qi about what happened five years ago. At that time, she started working at Guanchao, and Cheng Qirang treated her well. She always thought that Cheng Qirang valued her abilities. However, one day Cheng Qirang took Min Hui into his office and tried to do something inappropriate, but Min Hui slapped him. When Min Hui left, she happened to meet Director Lin, who provided false testimony. Therefore, everyone thought that Min Hui was trying to seduce Cheng Qirang but failed. Xin Qi felt guilty because he wasn't there for Min Hui at that time.

Min Hui went to the hospital to see Cheng Qirang. Cheng Qirang said that since he was the one who brought her here, she should know what happened. Xin Qi said that he knew and regretted not punching Cheng Qirang. Cheng Qirang said that he would sue Min Hui, but he didn't know how many years she would be sentenced.

Min Hui also arrived and saw Ha Di at the door. She felt that she should handle this matter herself. Cheng Qirang asked Xin Qi if he suspected that Min Hui was only with him for his money. Xin Qi said that he had doubted it and had hurt Min Hui because of it, so he regretted it. As long as he was alive, no one could harm Min Hui, including himself. Xin Qi said that if Cheng Qirang wanted to sue Min Hui, then they should also reveal the sexual harassment incident from five years ago. However, they were unsure how the Zheng family would react. Min Hui overheard this from outside and left without entering.

Cao Mu is worried about the company's affairs and says that she joined Bai'an right after graduating, and Bai'an is different for her. Chen Jiajun tells her that she doesn't need to work so hard and that he can support her. Cao Mu says she understands his intentions, but he's not her husband, so she doesn't need him to support her. Cao Mu called Min Hui and General He over to discuss advancing the management team's acquisition. Min Hui feels that she may not be able to contribute that much, but Cao Mu suggests that as a technical professional, she can contribute through technical shares and take a smaller portion. Min Hui agrees, and General He says that if Cao Mu can secure enough funding from venture capital, he will join in. Cao Mu states that if they succeed, her company won't support idle people like Ding Yifeng and advises General He to think it through.

Xindi says that they currently only have three hundred million on their books, which is not enough to acquire Bai'an. Ha Di returns and says that the bank has agreed to lend two hundred million, but they require Bluebird's shares as collateral. Xindi wonders if the board of directors will agree, but Xin Qi says that he believes in Bai'an's future not just for Min Hui's sake but genuinely. Xindi agrees to help.

Quanquan falls asleep on Xin Qi's and their bed and doesn't want to go back, insisting on sleeping with them. Xin Qi finally manages to bring Quanquan back to his own room and hurries back. Ding Yifeng notices something odd about Min Hui and the others, but General He dismisses it. Zhou Ruji tries to pursue Yao Zizhu but doesn't make much progress and ends up upsetting Yao Zizhu as well.
