Sitting by the fire on the terrace, Yi Ran told Xiao Mucheng stories from her childhood—how no matter the weather, no matter how late she came home, there was always someone waiting for her. Meanwhile, Leng Yishu decided to take a trip. At the airport, she unexpectedly ran into Lin Youjia again.

Two people with no set destination decided to travel together, and naturally, Leng Yishu linked arms with Lin Youjia. Before Yi Ran left for her studies abroad, Xiao Mucheng had planned to see her off. However, an important client visit came up, which was crucial to Quan Hai’s evaluation. Left with no choice, he asked Chen Mo to take Yi Ran to the airport instead. Everyone gathered to bid farewell to Yi Ran.
