Synopsis

During Chengyan's advancement ceremony, her senior brother Chengtian forcibly demands dual cultivation with her. In despair, Chengyan self-destructs her inner core, only to be rescued by Chen, who is now bound to her through a spiritual pet contract. Chengyan later learns that the current Chengtian is actually the ancient mythical beast Sha who has taken over her senior brother's body. She sets out on a path of vengeance, refining an ancient artifact to rebuild her inner core. However, during this process, she is poisoned and left with little time to live.

Chengyan decides to marry Chen, but on the day after their wedding, she sends him back to the demon realm and is killed herself. Enraged, Chen returns forcefully to Longqiu, only to find that Chengyan has been reborn as the Xuan Girl of Luming. Chengyan, using her new identity, attempts to reseal the beast Sha, but is discovered. Together with Chen, she engages in a final battle against Sha. In the end, they succeed in sealing him once again, restoring peace to the three realms.
