For the past thirty thousand years, Chu Kong had faced various tribulations, yet he hadn't been able to recover his original spiritual form, and the tribulation of love had yet to be experienced. The Divine Lord Haoxuan ordered the Marriage Pavilion to handle this matter. Xiangyun intended to use the ancient red thread to bind Yingshi and Chu Kong together, but due to an unexpected turn of events, she ended up being bound to Chu Kong instead. Chu Kong chased after Xiangyun to the "Turn Destiny Court," but at that moment, the Red Dust Well was malfunctioning, causing Xiangyun to accidentally fall in. With the binding effect of the red thread, Chu Kong was also pulled into the Red Dust Well.
Upon awakening, Xiangyun found herself transformed into a tiger, while Chu Kong had become a wild boar. The Nuwa Stone fell into the hands of Jin Lian, and his true intention in attacking the Heavenly Realm was actually to take the heart of the Nuwa Stone and resurrect the former Emperor, Canghai. Xiangyun, bearing the memories of the immortal realm, transformed into the commander of the Forbidden Army, Song Xiangyun, while Chu Kong, due to Xiuming's mischief, drank the River of Oblivion's water and lost his memory, becoming the son of the general, Lu Changkong.
Episode 3 Recap
Xiangyun and Lu Changkong were betrothed from a young age, but Xiangyun had only fear for this arranged marriage. She worried that after facing the tribulations and returning to the heavens, Chu Kong, the God of War, would come looking for trouble, and Princess Yingshi might even seek her life. So, she tried various ways to dissolve the engagement, but without success.
As they grew older, Lu Changkong gradually developed feelings for the quirky and cute Song Xiangyun. When he reached adulthood and was about to embark on a journey to the borderlands to defend his homeland, he vowed that upon his return, he would marry Xiangyun. Xiangyun was quite anxious, but with Lu Changkong's departure, she could finally enjoy a carefree life without worry.
One day, Xiangyun saved a bookworm, who turned out to be the person sent down to the mortal world by Jin Lian, now taking the human form of the Nuwa Stone, Zi Hui. Xiangyun took Zi Hui as her ally. Two years later, Lu Changkong returned triumphant. He sought out Xiangyun, who had been avoiding him, hoping to marry her as soon as possible, while Xiangyun was even more eager to dissolve the engagement. Chu Kong and Xiangyun went shopping together, revealing a lavish spending attitude, and Lu Changkong surprisingly doted on her.
Episode 4 Recap
Xiangyun was helpless in the face of Lu Changkong's indulgence. She had Zi Hui pretend to predict that they would face a disaster together, but Lu Changkong paid no attention to it, believing that human determination could overcome fate. After yet another failure, Xiangyun arranged a fake assassin, aiming to confirm the predicted disaster, but unexpectedly encountered a real assassin. They were in danger, and it turned out that the illustrious military achievements of the Lu family had already aroused the Emperor and the second prince's suspicion.
Lu Changkong, in an attempt to save Xiangyun, got injured and collapsed, but he was saved in time by Xiuming. Xiangyun worried that once they returned to the heavenly realm, Chu Kong, the Immortal Lord, would sense that she carried memories from the mortal world, which would surely put her life at risk. So, she took great care of him and tried to make him remember the good times they had. On the other hand, Zi Hui held the portrait given by Xiangyun as he searched for Yingshi. Xiangyun visited Lu Changkong, who pretended to be sick to gain her attention. Meanwhile, Zi Hui was searching for Yingshi and found himself falling in love with her at first sight.
Episode 5 Recap
Lu Changkong was studying the romantic stories that Xiangyun loved, getting lost in dreams of their marriage. Meanwhile, Xiangyun had a similar dream, but in hers, she saw Chu Kong raising a sword to kill her. This dream woke her up abruptly, and she decided to quickly distance herself from Lu Changkong. Since she hadn't found Yingshi yet, Xiangyun decided to find a new wife for Lu Changkong. She specifically asked him what kind of girl he liked, but Lu Changkong took this as an opportunity to confess his true feelings. Xiangyun was somewhat moved by his sincerity.
On the other side, Lu Changkong invited Xiangyun to the lantern festival, and she decided that during the festival, she would arrange a meeting between Miss Xie and Lu Changkong. During the festival, due to a mix-up, Zi Hui mistook Yingshi for Miss Xie and sent her a message to meet Chu Kong.
When Xiangyun realized the mistake, she hurried to the meeting place, only to find that Lu Changkong had been waiting there. He confessed his feelings to Xiangyun and took her to the flower pavilion to see the carousel lanterns. Unexpectedly, Yingshi arrived for the appointment, and Xiangyun, in a state of emotional turmoil, fled from the scene. Yingshi was rejected by Lu Changkong, thinking that Xiangyun had intentionally made him look bad, and ordered her maidservant to push Xiangyun into the water.

However, Xiangyun was worried that she might have offended Yingshi and that her life might be in danger. Xiuming, having been prevented from rescuing Xiangyun, no longer wanted to pretend to be weak and decided to compete for Xiangyun's affection.
Lu Liang opposed the Emperor's repairs to the sleeping palace, which drew the Emperor's dissatisfaction. However, Lu Liang believed that the Lu family were not the kind of people who feared death and were willing to sacrifice their own safety for the peace and stability of the nation, without regrets. During the horse competition, Lu Changkong's horse was tampered with, and he deliberately pretended to miss the target to conceal his true ability. Unexpectedly, the high platform was also sabotaged and fell. In order to save Xiangyun, Lu Changkong fired three arrows, revealing his true strength to the onlookers. The Crown Prince recommended Lu Changkong to become the Imperial Tutor for the Crown Prince.
At the matchmaking pavilion, the little fairy Xiangyun had just auctioned off the romantic connection between the war god Chu Kong and the dragon clan princess Yingshi using the Nuwa Stone. Unfortunately, the Nuwa Stone was lost in the chaos caused by the Mo Luo tribe's attack on the Heavenly Realm, and Xiangyun was in danger but was saved by Chu Kong. A divine oracle descended, predicting that Canghai would soon be reborn. Despite experiencing various tribulations over the past thirty thousand years, Chu Kong had yet to fully recover his primordial spirit, with the tribulation of love being the only one he hadn't experienced.
The God Emperor Haoxuan ordered the matchmaking pavilion to manage this matter. Xiangyun intended to use the ancient red thread to bind Yingshi and Chu Kong together, but due to a twist of fate, she ended up binding herself to Chu Kong. Chu Kong chased after Xiangyun to the "Turn of Fate" division, and at that moment, the "Red Dust Well" was malfunctioning. Xiangyun accidentally fell into it, and due to the binding of the red thread, Chu Kong was also pulled into the "Red Dust Well."
When Xiangyun woke up, she found herself turned into a tiger, and Chu Kong had become a wild boar. She was shocked and terrified, fearing that Chu Kong might destroy her soul when he returned. In order to protect Xiangyun, Lu Changkong decided to break off the engagement. He sensed that his father was hiding something.
Xiangyun's feelings for Lu Changkong were revealed by a maid, and she finally confronted her own feelings. She recalled the moments between her and Lu Changkong and realized that she had fallen in love with him. Lu Changkong discovered a loophole in the military fund of the Lu residence. He decided to stay and face the challenges alongside his family. He had been avoiding seeing Xiangyun to protect her and had proposed breaking off the engagement.
Xiu Ming suggested that he could help Xiangyun cancel the engagement with Lu Changkong. Upon hearing the news of trouble in the Lu family, Xiangyun worried that Lu Changkong might sneak into the Lu residence. However, Lu Changkong handed the divorce letter to Xiangyun. She understood that Lu Changkong did it to protect her and deliberately pushed her away, so she tore the divorce letter to pieces.

Faced with the imperial decree, Song Qinwen felt helpless but had no choice but to lead the troops to the Lu family's residence. Initially, the emperor secretly allocated funds to Lu Liang to appease the flood victims. Now, in a sudden reversal of fortune, the emperor used this matter to bring about the downfall of the Lu family.
Lu Liang asked Lu Changkong to find the deputy general to retrieve the true imperial decree. However, Lu Changkong discovered that there was no real imperial decree; it was just an excuse his father used to deliberately send him away. He understood his father's intention to protect him and immediately returned home to rescue his father. In a critical moment, Xiangyun saved the injured Lu Changkong, and Song Qinwen let the two of them go free.
Episode 9 Recap
The power in the capital gradually fell into the hands of Xiuming. Yingshi, in order to avoid causing trouble for Zihui, left alone, but in the exchanges between the two, they had already developed feelings for each other. Xiangyun took good care of the injured Lu Changkong along the way. On the other side, in the palace, Xiuming administered medicine to the emperor, gradually gaining control of the political power.
Lu Changkong, not wanting to burden Xiangyun, wanted to leave alone, but Xiangyun closely followed him. She understood that Lu Changkong was trying to spare her from trouble. Xiangyun and Lu Changkong stayed at an inn, but their funds were insufficient, so they could only afford one room. To pay the room fee, Lu Changkong had to sell his own sword, fearing that he couldn't provide a future for Xiangyun.
At this time, Xiuming sent someone to find Xiangyun and told her that her father, Song Qinwen, was in trouble. Xiangyun understood that despite her own trials, genuine family ties and warmth still touched her heart. She decided to return to the capital to save her father. At night, Lu Changkong gave a hairpin as a token of their engagement, and the two privately pledged to be together for life.
Xiangyun initially planned to leave quietly, but she discovered a note from Lu Changkong, wishing her a safe journey. It turned out that Lu Changkong had known about her decision and supported it all along, warming Xiangyun's heart. Xiangyun redeemed Lu Changkong's sword and used a batch of fine horses as her dowry.
Episode 10 Recap
Lu Changkong arrived at the border to join forces with his uncle. They decided to return to the capital and eliminate the tyrant Wang Ding Shanhe. Xiangyun returned to the Song residence and found it desolate. Xiuming offered to help Xiangyun by proposing a fake marriage, allowing her to become his wife in name to protect the Song family. Xiangyun agreed to the marriage proposal for the sake of the Song family. Xiuming announced this to the world, deliberately spreading the news to the border.
When Lu Changkong received the news, he faced a dilemma: if he returned to the capital for Xiangyun, the dam would break, causing countless casualties among the Lu family's army and downstream civilians. Xiuming was forcing him to choose between the world and Xiangyun. Xiuming's plan to divert attention and transport gunpowder was discovered by Lu Changkong. The army sent to transport the gunpowder was completely defeated.
In the imperial city, Xiuming asked Xiangyun for a sachet. The maidservant told Xiangyun that Xiuming was allergic to fragrances. Xiangyun suddenly realized that Xiuming had intentions toward her, but she also unexpectedly learned that the annihilation of the Lu family and the hardships faced by the Song family were all calculated by Xiuming, with the goal of obtaining Xiangyun.
Episode 11 Recap
Xiangyun was trapped in agony. Seeing her suffering, Song Qinwen gave her a token and urged his daughter to escape. Zihui and Yingshi confided in each other and, after getting together, decided to help both Xiangyun and Lu Changkong. Lu Liang risked his life to advise against Prince San's treacherous intent, but unfortunately, the evidence had already been destroyed, and the Song family was thrown into prison.
Upon hearing the news of her parents' imprisonment, Xiangyun, though suspecting that this was orchestrated by Xiuming to prevent her from leaving, felt grateful for her parents' upbringing. She decided to return to the imperial city to rescue them. She asked Zihui to deliver a message to Lu Changkong, informing him of Xiuming's plan of rebellion.
In the prison, Song Qinwen and Wanniang recalled the past without regrets. They didn't want to become a vulnerability for Xiangyun, so they chose to take poison and end their lives. The soldiers of the Lu family decided to fight to the death, accompanying Lu Changkong to fight their way back to the capital and rescue Xiangyun.
Episode 12 Recap
On the day of the grand wedding, Lu Changkong rescued Xiangyun, but he was surrounded in the main hall by people arranged by Xiuming. A fierce battle ensued, and Lu Changkong fought desperately to create a path to save Xiangyun. Just as the two were about to escape the main hall, Xiuming shot a final arrow towards Lu Changkong, which was blocked by Xiangyun, sacrificing her own life to resolve the enmity between Lu Changkong and Xiuming, putting an end to the war.
Yingshi died in the fierce battle, and Zi Hui was severely injured. Jin Lian, who had been secretly observing, realized that the long-lost sister he had been searching for, Jin Luo, was none other than Yingshi. After returning to the heavenly realm, Xiangyun was in a state of despair. She used her remaining time to tell Xiangyun that the First Sky Immortal, Chu Kong, had not yet returned to his position, meaning that Lu Changkong was still alive.
Lu Changkong, due to Xiangyun's passing, turned gray overnight. Xiangyun went to the Transmigration Court to wait for Chu Kong, the First Sky Immortal, to reclaim his divine position. The two finally reunited, but Chu Kong seemed oblivious to Xiangyun, passing by without acknowledging her presence.
Episode 13 Recap
Xiangyun watched as Chu Kong's retreating figure brushed past her, tears streaming down her face. Though Chu Kong didn't look back, he still cast a spell to wipe away Xiangyun's tears. Xiuming returned to his celestial position and apologized to Xiangyun, explaining that he was unaware of the mortal realm events. Xiangyun understood, but suspicions about Xiuming's true intentions were aroused within Chu Kong. Xiangyun developed genuine feelings for Lu Changkong, yet confusion clouded her mind as she realized that Chu Kong, the Immortal Lord, wasn't actually Lu Changkong.
Chu Kong confronted Li Tianwang to settle scores and learned that the stories written by Li Tianwang were merely outlines, holding no power over their fate. Both Chu Kong and Xiangyun found themselves lost in the maze of their emotions for each other. Thirty thousand years ago, Canghai bestowed the Heavenly Dome Jade upon Xiuming, but now its radiance waned, and Xiuming grew increasingly worried about the well-being of Xiangyun's soul.
Chu Kong asked Xiangyun whom she should thank most for her promotion, and she expressed gratitude to many. Chu Kong felt stifled by this. Pretending to be angry, Chu Kong made Xiangyun copy the Heart Sutra, but in reality, his intention was to help her enhance her magical powers. Unfortunately, Xiangyun misunderstood this as a form of punishment.

Jin Lian found Xie Yingshi and exposed her true identity—Xie Yingshi was none other than Jin Lian's own younger sister, Jin Luo. As the Qixi Festival approached, Xiangyun, who had recently been promoted, was extremely busy. Xiuming went to help, and upon hearing this, Chu Kong also came to assist. He intended to stay for Xiangyun's promotion banquet, causing discomfort among the members of the Marriage Fate Pavilion. During the banquet, Chu Kong and Xiuming engaged in subtle conflicts.
Gazing at the starry sky, Xiangyun thought about Lu Changkong's inner sadness. He fell asleep while intoxicated, leaving tears behind. Chu Kong cast a spell to wipe them away. Chu Kong explained that there's no need to cling to mortal life because, compared to the fleeting existence of mortals, as an immortal, he could spend eternity with his loved ones. Lu Changkong had existed once; as long as someone remembered, he wouldn't truly vanish.
Jin Lian forced Jin Luo to retrieve the heart of the Nüwa Stone from Zihui. Jin Luo found Zihui in the mortal realm and took the heart for Xie Yingshi's memorial.
Episode 15 Recap
Jin Lian used the heart brought back by Jin Luo to initiate a resurrection ritual. However, the truth was that Jin Lian had coerced Jin Luo into killing Zi Hui and retrieving the heart. Jin Luo couldn't bear it and ultimately extracted her own heart, substituting it for Zi Hui's heart. This led to the failure of Jin Lian's resurrection ritual, causing significant damage to his divine soul. To repair his divine soul, Jin Lian had to descend to the mortal realm and undergo tribulations.
An anomaly occurred in the heavens, and a divine message was once again sent to the mortal realm. Chu Kong needed to accelerate the mending of his divine soul. Li Tianwang tailored the plot of the Linglong Heart to expedite Chu Kong's tribulations. This time, Chu Kong became the leader of the Sheng Ling Sect without forgetting the River of Oblivion water.
Xiangyun became Yang Xiao Xiang, the daughter of the Sword-Binding Sect's leader. The Yang family suffered a tragic massacre, and Chu Kong rescued Yang Xiao Xiang from the brink of death, bringing her to the Sheng Ling Sect. However, due to the trauma of the massacre, Xiao Xiang lost her memories. With the Linglong Heart in her possession this time, Xiao Xiang was able to heal Chu Kong, who suffered from Linglong Heart affliction.

Despite her continuous efforts, the cakes Xiao Xiang made were still quite unpalatable. Chu Kong had been investigating the truth behind the tragic Yang family massacre.
During one taste test, a crumb of cake stuck to the corner of Chu Kong's mouth. Xiao Xiang gestured for him to wipe it off, but Chu Kong misunderstood and thought she wanted him to kiss her. Feeling disappointed because Xiao Xiang didn't reciprocate his feelings, Chu Kong sought advice from Qianren on how to win her heart. He attempted tactics such as showcasing his sword skills and giving her a piglet as a gift, but his attempts backfired, and Xiao Xiang ended up thinking he was angry with her.
Chu Kong decided to personally cook a meal for Xiao Xiang, but the result was disastrous as everyone fell ill due to food poisoning.
Episode 17 Recap
Qian Ren and Qian Mou came up with a plan, having Chu Kong play the role of a hero to save Xiangyun and capture her heart. On the other side, Xiuming was also arranging a plan to rescue Xiangyun. According to the plan, Chu Kong took Xiao Xiang for a stroll. As expected, they encountered a group of assassins. However, these were the real assassins arranged by Xiuming. Seizing the opportunity, Xiuming tried to take Xiao Xiang away. However, Xiao Xiang, who had lost her memory, was unwilling to go with him. Xiuming had no choice but to pretend to be injured and intended to go back to the Holy Ling Sect.
Chu Kong wanted to uncover Xiuming's true intentions, so he brought him back to the Holy Ling Sect. Xiuming shared his and Xiao Xiang's past with her, but she didn't remember any of it. She had already come to view everyone in the Holy Ling Sect as her family and friends and was unwilling to leave. Xiuming decided to use a stratagem to make Chu Kong willingly offer his heart. Chu Kong warned Xiuming not to have any inappropriate thoughts about Xiao Xiang and questioned the true reasons for Xiuming's repeated visits to the mortal realm.
Episode 18 Recap
Xiao Xiang thanked Chu Kong for protecting her and expressed that her wish was for her master's heart ailment to be cured. Chu Kong was deeply moved, his heart uncontrollably pounding. He had long fallen in love with Xiao Xiang, though he stubbornly refused to admit it. Xiuming proposed holding an embroidered ball matchmaking event, and during the event, Xiao Xiang handed the embroidered ball directly to Chu Kong. She confessed her affection for Chu Kong, stating that she wanted to accompany her master for a lifetime. Chu Kong was profoundly touched, and Xiuming felt desolate.
Chu Kong's heart ailment began to worsen in frequency. Following Xiuming's suggestion, Xiangyun went to the Holy Ling Peak to gather snow lotus to treat Chu Kong's heart ailment. Learning that Xiao Xiang had gone to the Holy Ling Peak alone, Chu Kong became worried for her safety and immediately set out to find her. He found Xiao Xiang collapsed in the snow after collecting the snow lotus, deeply concerned. He used his own mystical power to rescue her, but this exacerbated his own heart ailment.
Due to a past incident that cast a shadow on their relationship, Chu Kong forbade Xiao Xiang from being so reckless with her safety again. General Li became angry with Xiuming's actions in the mortal realm and went to report to Haoxuan. Enraged by Xiuming's actions and fearing for Xiao Xiang's safety, Chu Kong imprisoned Xiuming in the dungeon.

Xiao Xiang found Xiuming in the underground cell and learned the truth about Chu Kong's intentions for her Linglong Heart. Xu Wenrui secretly cultivated a large group of assassins. Chu Kong suspected that Xu Wenrui's true target was Xiao Xiang's Linglong Heart. He strengthened the deployments both within the sect and at the foot of the mountain.
Worried about Xiao Xiang, Chu Kong anxiously waited for her appearance. When she finally arrived, he cautiously asked her why she hadn't come to visit him despite his serious condition. Unexpectedly, Xiao Xiang remained silent and directly kissed Chu Kong. In her fervor, Xiao Xiang regained her memories of the Yang family massacre. To ensure Xiao Xiang's safety, Chu Kong had Xiuming take her away from the Sheng Ling Sect. Chu Kong revealed his possession of the Linglong Heart to draw Xu Wenrui out.
Upon learning that Chu Kong had dismissed the disciples in the sect to face Xu Wenrui alone, Xiao Xiang, concerned for Chu Kong's safety, returned to the Sheng Ling Sect. Chu Kong engaged in a decisive battle with Xu Wenrui, and Xiangyun noticed a mark on Xu Wenrui's hand. It turned out that Xu Wenrui was the true culprit behind the massacre of her entire family. Xiangyun activated the power of the Linglong Heart.

Despite Chu Kong's objections, Xiangyun was still worried about King Li's safety and decided to descend to the mortal realm. Bound by their connection, Chu Kong followed her.
This time, their genders were swapped. Xiangyun became a male general, while Chu Kong became a princess. They discovered that the Emperor and the Empress Dowager each possessed a half of the Jade Pendants of Chasing Waves Nine Peaks. When combined, these pendants could lead them to the clues left by King Li. However, the Emperor disliked the Empress Dowager's influence in politics, and their longstanding grievances escalated. Chu Kong was angry at Canghai for her deception, but Canghai's bold display of affection made him helpless. The two of them reconciled. The former king of the Mo Luo tribe secretly imprisoned Canghai's twin sister, Mingyue. As Mingyue grew up, her powers became increasingly difficult to control. Haoxuan, who was vigilant, noticed the anomaly. Due to his weak magical abilities, Xiuming had always been very self-conscious. Canghai encouraged him, as she had no family by her side and considered Xiuming as family.
However, Xiuming was still unwilling to lose Canghai. In an attempt to enhance his cultivation, he forcefully absorbed the power of the Hundred Herbs, resulting in backlash and injury. Chu Kong used his own spiritual power to save Xiuming, causing Xiuming to realize the disparity between their abilities. In order to avoid competing with his brother for the position of inheriting the Qilin King, Chu Kong decided to be engaged to Canghai under the alias of an unknown individual.
Nevertheless, Haoxuan still feared Chu Kong. He schemed to manipulate Jincheng, hoping to ensnare him.
Episode 29 Recap
Xiuming confessed his feelings to Canghai, but she only regarded him as family. Seeing how deeply Canghai and Chu Kong cared for each other, Xiuming decided to let go of his feelings for Canghai. Haoxuan gave Jincheng a medicine that could save his children in exchange for becoming his informant. Through Jincheng, Haoxuan learned about the existence of Princess Mingyue.
Chu Kong concealed his identity and married Canghai. Touched by Chu Kong's devotion, they decided to return to the cottage in the woods to complete their marriage. Jincheng worried that the malevolent energy from Mingyue couldn't be contained, so he forcefully used magic to suppress her power, leaving Mingyue feeling cold and distant. Haoxuan controlled the divine oracle and took the opportunity to manipulate it, altering its content. As a result, he suffered backlash.
Episode 30 Recap
The medicine given by Haoxuan accelerated the damage to Jincheng's children's spiritual essence. Jincheng suspected that Haoxuan had used him to frame Chu Kong and Canghai. Moreover, Haoxuan manipulated the divine oracle. Now, the only way to save the children was to use Chu Kong's Golden Qilin spiritual essence. Jincheng realized he had been deceived and had inadvertently harmed Canghai.
Chu Kong and Canghai had their grand wedding in the cottage in the woods. They reminisced about the sweet moments they had shared throughout their journey. Canghai used the "牵丝引送" ritual with Chu Kong, infusing their spiritual essence into the ritual to establish an eternal bond. During their intimate moment, Jincheng arrived, seeking help for their two children. Using his spiritual power, Chu Kong saved the children.
Haoxuan signed a soul contract with Mingyue, compelling her to help him eradicate the Di Xiu god clan. He drained Mingyue's power and infused it into himself. Jincheng revealed Haoxuan's conspiracy, and Mingyue was on the verge of death. Canghai rushed back to stop Haoxuan.
Episode 31 Recap
Canghai became the target of everyone's attacks. Jincheng sacrificed herself to save Canghai, and Haoxuan used Mingyue's power to seriously injure Canghai. Chu Kong woke up and rushed to the scene, but with his damaged spiritual essence, he wasn't a match for Haoxuan. To prevent Haoxuan from harming the Six Realms, Canghai chose to sacrifice herself. She jumped into the boundless void, but fortunately, Chu Kong had planted a protective spell on her. At the last moment, using half of his own spiritual essence, Chu Kong protected a fragment of Canghai's spiritual essence.
Chu Kong was severely injured, and Haoxuan used magic to erase his memories. By the time Xiuming arrived, it was too late.
Episode 32 Recap
Before the end, Chu Kong and Xiangyun, having learned the whole truth, decided to temporarily avoid the situation as Canghai's power still existed in the boundless void. Haoxuan manipulated Xiuming's hatred towards Chu Kong and had Xiuming attempt to assassinate him. However, Chu Kong didn't actually die. He chose to go to the boundless void to reclaim Canghai's power from there. Chu Kong knew that Haoxuan had long suspected their identities, so he and Xiuming staged a fake death. Chu Kong went alone to the enigmatic forest in the demon realm.
Xiangyun never truly believed that Chu Kong had died. She saw through the ruse of the fake death orchestrated by Chu Kong and Xiuming. Unable to bear it, Xiuming eventually allowed Xiangyun to go in search of Chu Kong. Using the connection from the "牵丝引" spell, Xiangyun sensed Chu Kong's presence in the enigmatic forest. There, Chu Kong defeated the former demon king and, according to the forest's rules, became the new ruler of the enigmatic forest.

Haoxuan wanted to use Zi Hui to activate the Demon-Extinguishing Formation and absorb all the demonic energy in the Guili Forest. Zi Hui sacrificed himself to thwart Haoxuan's scheme. Chu Kong, masked and accompanied by a group of demons, arrived and fought against Haoxuan, ultimately saving Zi Hui, Jin Luo, and the other demons of the Guili Forest. They completely stopped Haoxuan from activating the Demon-Extinguishing Formation.
Before his death, Zi Hui held a wedding ceremony with Jin Luo. He also invited Jin Lian, and the two siblings finally reconciled. The elders of the demon realm, seeing Chu Kong's protection of the young demons, finally agreed to let Chu Kong cultivate the power of the Demon King. Chu Kong went into seclusion for cultivation. Chu Kong, the Mo Luo tribe, and the demons of the Guili Forest fought desperately to protect Xiangyun and clashed with Haoxuan. Xiangyun didn't want to see everyone sacrifice themselves for her and willingly agreed to go back with Haoxuan. Haoxuan decided to destroy Canghai's soul. Xiuming and Hong Xian Weng arrived in time, and they persuaded Haoxuan together, announcing to the Six Realms that Xiangyun would be executed publicly, using this to buy more time.
Xiuming came to rescue Xiangyun, but she didn't want to leave. The truth hadn't been revealed yet, and she wanted to use the public trial to expose Haoxuan's true face. The Profound Sky Mirror was finally repaired, and Xiuming managed to show the people of the Six Realms the truth from thirty thousand years ago: how Haoxuan falsely accused Canghai by using the Bright Moon Covenant. Haoxuan, furious and embarrassed, snatched the whip and personally carried out the execution. Just as Xiangyun was about to succumb to the final heavenly thunder whip punishment, Chu Kong appeared in time, infused Canghai's power into her body. During the fight, Haoxuan's tampering with the divine oracle's curse mark was exposed, revealing all his schemes.
However, Canghai's power was revived, and the power of the Bright Moon also emerged. Haoxuan grew even stronger once again. If Haoxuan were to be killed, Canghai couldn't survive either. Estranged and isolated, Haoxuan fled to the side of the Boundless Realm, but he remained obstinate. Chu Kong sent Haoxuan into the Boundless Realm, using the power of the Golden Qilin to cast a protective godly spell on Canghai. He took on the role of Canghai's soul and dissipated the healing power of the Golden Qilin. They finally defeated Haoxuan, and the Six Realms returned to a state of peace and tranquility.
