On the day of the grand wedding, Lu Changkong rescued Xiangyun, but he was surrounded in the main hall by people arranged by Xiuming. A fierce battle ensued, and Lu Changkong fought desperately to create a path to save Xiangyun. Just as the two were about to escape the main hall, Xiuming shot a final arrow towards Lu Changkong, which was blocked by Xiangyun, sacrificing her own life to resolve the enmity between Lu Changkong and Xiuming, putting an end to the war.

Yingshi died in the fierce battle, and Zi Hui was severely injured. Jin Lian, who had been secretly observing, realized that the long-lost sister he had been searching for, Jin Luo, was none other than Yingshi. After returning to the heavenly realm, Xiangyun was in a state of despair. She used her remaining time to tell Xiangyun that the First Sky Immortal, Chu Kong, had not yet returned to his position, meaning that Lu Changkong was still alive.

Lu Changkong, due to Xiangyun's passing, turned gray overnight. Xiangyun went to the Transmigration Court to wait for Chu Kong, the First Sky Immortal, to reclaim his divine position. The two finally reunited, but Chu Kong seemed oblivious to Xiangyun, passing by without acknowledging her presence.
