Qian Ren and Qian Mou came up with a plan, having Chu Kong play the role of a hero to save Xiangyun and capture her heart. On the other side, Xiuming was also arranging a plan to rescue Xiangyun. According to the plan, Chu Kong took Xiao Xiang for a stroll. As expected, they encountered a group of assassins. However, these were the real assassins arranged by Xiuming. Seizing the opportunity, Xiuming tried to take Xiao Xiang away. However, Xiao Xiang, who had lost her memory, was unwilling to go with him. Xiuming had no choice but to pretend to be injured and intended to go back to the Holy Ling Sect.

Chu Kong wanted to uncover Xiuming's true intentions, so he brought him back to the Holy Ling Sect. Xiuming shared his and Xiao Xiang's past with her, but she didn't remember any of it.
