Chu Kong found an excuse to make Canghai stay behind, but Canghai saw through it. She understood Chu Kong's feelings. The two of them lived a sweet life in the cottage in the woods. Canghai told Chu Kong that she missed her deceased parents a lot, and Chu Kong confessed that he would always be there for her. Haoxuan sent a letter, asking Chu Kong to visit the Mo Luo tribe to advance the alliance between the two clans, but Chu Kong was unwilling.
