Fu Jiaming was very patient with Fang Taichu, telling her stories and teaching her to play the piano. Fang Taichu quickly grew fond of Fu Jiaming, and Huang Yimei noticed it all.

While Su Gengsheng was on a business trip, Su's mother took the opportunity to ask Huang Zhenhua for a 200,000 yuan dowry. Huang Zhenhua, who usually spent money freely and hadn’t saved up that much, had to secretly borrow the money from Zhou Shihui. Zhou Shihui agreed to lend the money but was curious about its purpose. Fang Taichu was sad about the death of her rabbit, Taotao. Fu Jiaming accompanied her to bury the rabbit and bought chocolates to cheer her up. Fang Taichu wrote a song for her deceased rabbit, and she and Fu Jiaming performed it together at a bar. Fu Jiaming also invited Huang Yimei to dance on stage. Huang Yimei played a spontaneous piece, earning applause and cheers from the audience. After the performance, Huang Yimei drove Fang Taichu home, with Fu Jiaming following them on his motorcycle. Huang Yimei began to have feelings for Fu Jiaming, and he also started to develop feelings for her.

Ever since meeting Fu Jiaming, Huang Yimei’s mood had brightened considerably. Su Gengsheng noticed she was in love and Huang Yimei admitted she liked Fu Jiaming. Su Gengsheng wanted to help strengthen their relationship and discussed organizing a team-building event with Huang Zhenhua, specifying that family members should be included. Huang Zhenhua thought it was a good idea.

Fu Jiamin invited Fu Jiaming to the team-building event, but Fu Jiaming didn’t want to go until he learned that Huang Yimei and Fang Taichu would be there. He agreed immediately. Huang Zhenhua asked Huang Yimei to bring Fang Taichu to the event, but she didn’t want to get involved until Huang Zhenhua mentioned that Fu Jiaming would be there. She then agreed to go.

Fu Jiaming arrived early at the designated location. Huang Yimei drove Fang Taichu to the outskirts. Instead of taking the company’s bus, Fu Jiaming got into Huang Yimei’s car. Zhou Shihui saw this and felt jealous. Fu Jiaming had prepared lots of snacks and toys for Fang Taichu, who loved them and even put a sticker on both Fu Jiaming and Huang Yimei’s faces. Fang Taichu soon fell asleep, and Fu Jiaming casually asked about Huang Yimei’s ex-husband. Huang Yimei honestly replied that Fang Xiewen was a good person, but they weren’t compatible.

Huang Yimei drove to the outskirts, with the company bus arriving shortly after. Everyone split up to set up tents and barbecue. Fu Jiaming even caught insects in the woods to grill, which Huang Zhenhua and Su Gengsheng dared not eat, but Huang Yimei bravely tried them. Fu Jiaming played bumper cars with Fang Taichu and Huang Yimei. They laughed and had a great time, while Zhou Shihui, seeing that Huang Zhenhua was trying to create opportunities for Huang Yimei and Fu Jiaming, became very unhappy with him.

Su Gengsheng overheard Huang Zhenhua and Zhou Shihui arguing, and Zhou Shihui casually mentioned Huang Zhenhua borrowing money. Su Gengsheng confronted Huang Zhenhua, who admitted borrowing 200,000 yuan for Su’s mother. Su Gengsheng was furious, accusing him of hiding it from her, and refused to speak to him despite his explanations. Huang Zhenhua, needing to look after the sleeping Fang Taichu, couldn’t go after her.

Su Gengsheng, growing increasingly angry, booked a flight back home to confront her mother. Huang Zhenhua called to apologize, only to find out she had already left. Since the camping trip, Huang Yimei and Fu Jiaming started a passionate romance, wanting to be together every day. Fu Jiamin wanted to tell Huang Yimei about Fu Jiaming’s congenital heart disease, but Mi Mi advised him not to ruin the mood, especially since Fu Jiaming was currently in good health.

Fu Jiaming taught Huang Yimei how to play the drums, and she quickly got the hang of it. He then took her for a ride on his motorcycle, and she held onto him tightly, feeling an unprecedented sense of happiness and sweetness.

Fu Jiaming took Huang Yimei and Fang Taichu camping. Fang Taichu followed him around while he recorded sounds, and Huang Yimei leisurely read a book under a tree. Fu Jiaming asked Fang Taichu if he could be Huang Yimei’s boyfriend, and Fang Taichu, who liked him a lot, agreed. Su Gengsheng returned home to confront her mother and demanded the 200,000 yuan back, only to find out that her stepfather had already taken it. Su’s mother lied, saying Huang Zhenhua had voluntarily given the money and brought up Su Gengsheng’s childhood trauma of being sexually assaulted.
