The Untamed Episode 15 Recap
> The Untamed Recap
The leader of the Yao Clan from Pingyang arrived at Lotus Pier with his surviving servants, his body covered in blood and severely injured. He collapsed on the ground and sorrowfully recounted his grievances to Jiang Fengmian. It turned out that the Yao Clan had escaped from Qishan and traveled all the way back to Pingyang, but they still couldn't avoid the wrath of the Wen Clan.
The entire family had been slaughtered, and the clan leader barely escaped with his life before seeking refuge in Lotus Pier. Jiang Fengmian, being a chivalrous man with a kind heart, immediately ordered his servants to prepare a guest room and provide treatment for the Yao Clan leader. Jiang Cheng, however, was deeply worried. He knew the Wen Clan had their eyes on them and feared that Lotus Pier was no safer for the Yao Clan.
He expressed his concerns to his father, warning that the Wen Clan would not let them off so easily. Jiang Fengmian pondered for a while and realized that only the Jin Clan of Lanling had the power to rival the Wen Clan. Without delay, he decided to depart for Lanling with Jiang Yanli the next day, bringing the Yao Clan leader with them, while leaving Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng behind to guard Lotus Pier.
The next day, the surface of the lake was calm, with lotus flowers blooming everywhere. Jiang Fengmian and Jiang Yanli set out on their journey. Although Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng were reluctant to part with their father and sister, they believed they would return safely soon. Wei Wuxian, however, suggested that they should plan ahead in case the Wen Clan decided to invade Lotus Pier, ensuring they would have a strategy to defend it.
Meanwhile, Wen Chao reported to Wen Ruohan that the Xuanwu of Slaughter had been killed, but the weapon used to suppress it had disappeared without a trace. Wen Ruohan, who was already struggling with abnormalities in his body due to the Yin Iron, was infuriated by the report. Furious, he ordered Wen Chao to find the missing weapon and destroy Lotus Pier. Wen Chao accepted the mission and, full of malicious intent, began plotting the massacre.
Soon after, Wang Lingjiao, emboldened by her relationship with Wen Chao, led a group of Wen Clan disciples to Yunmeng. Upon arrival, she began arresting people under fabricated charges and swaggered into Lotus Pier with an air of arrogance. She sneered at the decorations, mocked the Jiang Clan disciples, and accused them of harboring ill intentions toward the Wen Clan. Madam Yu, known for her strong-willed and proud nature, was unable to tolerate Wang Lingjiao’s impudence.
She coldly questioned Wang Lingjiao about her true intentions. Wang Lingjiao, feigning superiority, claimed she was here to punish Wei Wuxian on behalf of Wen Chao for his previous disrespectful behavior. She demanded that Madam Yu severely discipline Wei Wuxian.
Not stopping there, Wang Lingjiao went on to imply that if Madam Yu refused to act, it would prove that the rumors about Jiang Fengmian’s infatuation with Cangse Sanren were true — that his excessive care for Wei Wuxian stemmed from a hidden romantic attachment. Knowing that the Wen Clan posed a huge threat, Madam Yu realized that if she didn’t punish Wei Wuxian, the consequences could be catastrophic.
Gritting her teeth, she raised the Zidian whip and ruthlessly lashed Wei Wuxian until his skin was torn and bloodied. Yet, Wang Lingjiao remained unsatisfied and maliciously demanded that Madam Yu sever Wei Wuxian's right hand to ensure he would never forget this lesson. With her face darkened with rage, Madam Yu ordered the servants to close the gates.
Wang Lingjiao, assuming Madam Yu was about to cripple Wei Wuxian, clapped her hands in delight and declared that Lotus Pier would soon become a supervision office under the Wen Clan. Jiang Cheng desperately shielded Wei Wuxian from harm. Wang Lingjiao, brimming with arrogance, walked down the steps and threatened everyone to comply. At that moment, Madam Yu suddenly moved like lightning, delivering a heavy slap across Wang Lingjiao’s face, sending her crashing to the ground.
Without hesitation, Madam Yu unleashed Zidian and struck down Wang Lingjiao’s guards. She then seized Wang Lingjiao’s jaw, lifted her with immense strength, and slapped her again. Furious, she declared that even when beating a dog, one must consider the owner. Wang Lingjiao, a lowly concubine, dared to enter Lotus Pier and humiliate her family — she was simply courting death! With a cold glare, Madam Yu stomped on Wang Lingjiao’s face, crushing her into the ground.
Wang Lingjiao was livid but utterly powerless in combat. She could only resort to threatening Madam Yu by bringing up the Wen Clan. Madam Yu sneered in disdain, declaring that she didn’t fear the Wen Clan and would rather die than allow them to humiliate her family. Without hesitation, she ordered her subordinates to kill Wang Lingjiao on the spot. However, before the fatal strike could land, Wen Zhuliu arrived just in time to rescue Wang Lingjiao.
Madam Yu coldly mocked him, reminding him that he was born Zhao, yet had forsaken his ancestors to serve the Wen Clan — utterly disgraceful. Without a word, Wen Zhuliu launched into combat against Madam Yu. Wang Lingjiao seized the chaos to run outside and release a distress signal. Despite his injuries, Wei Wuxian urged Jiang Cheng to stop Wang Lingjiao, but Jiang Cheng instead rushed to protect his mother, taking a heavy blow from Wen Zhuliu.
Wang Lingjiao successfully sent the distress signal, sealing the Jiang Clan’s fate. Madam Yu’s maid risked her life to stall Wen Zhuliu while Madam Yu hurriedly escorted Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng onto a boat. Using Zidian, she bound the two tightly and urged Wei Wuxian to protect Jiang Cheng at all costs. Gritting her teeth, Madam Yu kicked the boat into the river and cast an acceleration spell, ensuring they could escape.
Both Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng were heartbroken, knowing this meant Madam Yu would likely face death. As the boat drifted down the river, they unexpectedly encountered Jiang Fengmian and Jiang Yanli. Upon learning what had happened, Jiang Fengmian wasted no time. Using Zidian, he bound Wei Wuxian, Jiang Cheng, and Jiang Yanli together and commanded them to head to Meishan to seek shelter with their grandmother. Then, without hesitation, Jiang Fengmian turned back toward Lotus Pier, determined to stand by his wife and face death alongside her.
