The Untamed Episode 32 Recap
> The Untamed Recap
Wei Wuxian silently arrived at Jinlintai and saw the frail figure of his senior sister. He dared not make a sound, nor did he dare to step forward. Madam Jin was accompanying Jiang Yanli in the mourning hall. The pain of losing her son had aged her overnight. Staggering, she stepped out to get some food for the haggard Jiang Yanli, only to unexpectedly see Wei Wuxian hiding in the shadows.
Jiang Yanli rushed out holding Jin Ling, tears streaming down her face, but she did not scold Wei Wuxian—she only wept sorrowfully. Madam Jin, on the other hand, broke down and screamed for people to come. With tears in his eyes, Wei Wuxian had no choice but to flee. He ran into the woods, where the black energy of the Yin Tiger Seal surrounded him, disturbing his mind. Wei Wuxian teetered on the edge of madness, unable to control himself.
The Jin Clan slaughtered all of the Wen Clan members and hung their corpses on the city walls, exposing them for three days. They even scattered the ashes of the ringleaders to the wind as a warning to all. The onlookers whispered among themselves, saying that although Wen Ning had surrendered himself, he later lost control and went on a killing spree at Jinlintai. They blamed Wei Wuxian for practicing demonic arts, calling him despicable.
Some lamented that the Lan Clan was truly unlucky—most of the people Jin Zixun had led to ambush Wei Wuxian at Qiongqi Path were from the Lan Clan, and they had all met their deaths. Fortunately, Wen Ning and Wen Qing had been reduced to ashes and could no longer cause harm. At that moment, Wei Wuxian stood behind the crowd. He gazed coldly at the hanging corpses and spoke, shocking everyone. He was utterly enraged.
Lifting Chenqing to his lips, he played a tune that sent people flying. Some, undeterred, shouted at him to prove himself at the Oath Assembly by challenging the great clan leaders. Wei Wuxian's face darkened—debts should be settled with their rightful owners. He indeed shouldn't waste time here. He should go to the Oath Assembly and settle this once and for all. That night, Jin Guangshan gathered the clan leaders, smashing a cup as an oath.
He scattered the ashes of Wen Qing and Wen Ning, ensuring they could never return, and then discussed strategies for dealing with Wei Wuxian. Suddenly, a cold laugh came from the rooftop. The people inside looked up to see Wei Wuxian, clad in black, lounging against the eaves with a wicked smile. Jin Guangshan berated Wei Wuxian for his audacity. But Wei Wuxian remained unfazed—he had always been arrogant.
Back during the Sunshot Campaign, he had single-handedly taken on three thousand opponents, so what was there to fear now? Wei Wuxian then questioned Jin Guangshan—hadn’t they agreed that after eliminating Wen Qing and Wen Ning, the matter would be settled? Why, then, were they now after the rest of the Wen Clan and his life? Jin Guangshan twisted his words, saying that the two matters were separate. Others chimed in to support him.
Wei Wuxian finally saw the truth—Jin Zixun had provoked him first, but in the end, he was the one at fault. Even defending himself was considered a crime! The Jin Clan disciples remained on high alert, aiming their arrows at Wei Wuxian and falsely accusing him of cursing Jin Zixun. Wei Wuxian was left speechless. No matter how he tried to defend himself, they insisted he was guilty.
Even if he jumped into the Yellow River, he wouldn't be able to clear his name. To these so-called righteous clans, Wei Wuxian was an irredeemable villain. One of the Jin disciples suddenly launched a sneak attack, shooting an arrow into Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian sneered, pulled the arrow out, and flung it back, taking the attacker's life. Jin Guangshan was horrified and immediately ordered a formation to ensure Wei Wuxian would not leave alive.
Jiang Cheng was caught in the middle, while Jin Guangyao watched gleefully. The battle began. Wei Wuxian played Chenqing, commanding dark energy and fierce spirits to attack. None of his opponents could withstand him, falling one by one. However, his summoned creatures did not harm the Yunmeng Jiang Clan. Just then, Lan Wangji descended from the sky, cradling his guqin. Under the bright moonlight, his figure appeared especially tall and imposing.
Wei Wuxian laughed—he had always known that one day, he and Lan Wangji would have a real fight. Neither of them wasted words. Lan Wangji flew forward to stop Wei Wuxian, saying that the situation had changed and that things were not as simple as they seemed—he needed to stop fighting. Wei Wuxian was puzzled when suddenly, he heard a voice call out, “A-Xian!
” He immediately realized it was his senior sister searching for him and hurriedly rushed to find her. The battlefield was chaotic. Jiang Yanli stumbled as she searched for Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng, but with so many people, she couldn’t locate her brothers. Seeing Wei Wuxian descend, the surrounding cultivators attacked. Lan Wangji urged Wei Wuxian to play his flute while he fought back.
Just as Wei Wuxian started playing, a shadow emerged from the darkness of the attic, also playing a flute. The dark creatures stopped obeying Wei Wuxian’s commands and became even more frenzied, attacking indiscriminately—including the Yunmeng Jiang Clan. Even the corpses on the battlefield suddenly stood up, transformed into bloodthirsty puppets. The scene became a living hell. Jiang Yanli, frail and delicate, was so focused on searching that she didn’t notice a puppet sneaking up behind her.
A sharp blade slashed across her body. Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng were horrified and rushed toward her. Jiang Yanli, weakly smiling, reached out to touch Wei Wuxian’s face, gently scolding him for running too fast earlier—she hadn’t even gotten a clear look at him. At that moment, an assassin tried to strike Wei Wuxian from behind. Seeing this, Jiang Yanli pushed him aside, taking the fatal stab to her chest.
The attacker panicked, realizing he had mistakenly killed Jiang Yanli. Jiang Cheng roared in anguish, clutching his sister in his arms. Wei Wuxian, consumed by fury, killed the assailant on the spot. But no matter what, he could not save Jiang Yanli. She coughed up blood—there was no hope of survival.
