Benjamin came to find Sa Xin and asked why he was there, when he had been told not to fire the cannons and not to go to the battlefield. Sa Xin told Benjamin to lock him up if he wanted, but Benjamin replied that the war was over, so why would he still lock him up? Benjamin then asked where Sa Xin’s star had gone. Sa Xin realized his star was missing and wanted to go back and find it.

Benjamin pointed out that, strictly speaking, Sa Xin had lost his own star. Benjamin gave his star to Sa Xin, but Sa Xin felt that since Benjamin’s star was lost, he should go and find it too. Sa Xin told Benjamin to go back, but Benjamin insisted it wasn’t possible, as Reina would blame him. Meanwhile, someone was hiding in the shadows, taking a shot at them. Benjamin noticed and shot the person, but he was also hit.

Benjamin had just found the star. Pei Xiaonan helped Benjamin treat his wound, and when Song Ran heard the news, she came as well. Sa Xin expressed his gratitude to Song Ran, Li Zan, and Benjamin. When Li Zan woke up, he found that Song Ran was missing. The nurse saw him and said that his wound should be treated. Li Zan replied that the team had basic medical supplies and that he would clean it himself before applying medicine.

The nurse noticed the red string on Li Zan’s wrist and asked if it was a gift from his family. Li Zan replied that it was a gift from his girlfriend. When Li Zan returned, Sa Xin informed him that Song Ran and the injured had already gone to the hospital and asked Li Zan to say a word to them. Song Ran and Li Zan were on the street, seeing everyone celebrating their victory, and they were both very happy.

They saw each other and walked toward each other, embracing deeply. When they returned to the hotel, Song Ran said that both she and Li Zan had things on their minds. Li Zan saw the medicine that Song Ran was taking and wondered if it had something to do with him. Song Ran assured him that it was her own issue and had nothing to do with Li Zan. Li Zan felt that it was all his fault.

He shouldn’t have left Song Ran when she needed him most, and he shouldn’t have failed to clarify things with her before. Song Ran told him it wasn’t his fault; it was because of everything that had happened before, and then her mother’s illness. She reassured him that she was fine now and hadn’t taken that bottle of medicine in a long time. Song Ran didn’t want Li Zan to change his mind just because she was sick.

Li Zan replied that he understood what she meant. They cleared up their thoughts and feelings, and Song Ran confessed that she had regretted it long ago and didn’t want to separate from Li Zan. Li Zan also liked Song Ran, and they embraced each other deeply. Li Zan had been injured, and Song Ran treated his wounds. She said that she was fine now, but Li Zan understood that being sick wasn’t the end of the world.

He too had many struggles he had to face. Song Ran said that if Li Zan wanted to tell her something, he could, but they still had a long time together in the future. Li Zan asked Song Ran to tell him a story. Song Ran shared a story from her childhood that she found very sad. Li Zan, however, thought the story was a love story, where the matchstick warmed the little bird.

He would also be the match that warmed Song Ran. Benjamin’s foot was injured and he was staying in the hospital. He said he wanted to go to a bar and asked Sa Xin to take him there. Sa Xin disagreed, thinking that Benjamin was already injured and shouldn’t be drinking. Benjamin said he had arranged to meet Pei Xiaonan, so Sa Xin could only get a wheelchair and take Benjamin to the bar. Benjamin reassured him that Pei Xiaonan would take him back, so Sa Xin didn’t need to wait for him. Sa Xin left directly.
