Upon learning that Jiang Yu no longer blamed him, Li Zan felt a sense of relief. Just as Li Zan was feeling happy, Luo Zhan called him. Since Li Zan's volunteer period was almost over, Luo Zhan wanted him to hurry back to the country. Having successfully overcome his inner demons, Li Zan gladly agreed. Song Ran arrived at the orphanage to play with the children along with A Sai.

Li Zan and Sa Xin also came to the orphanage together. Sa Xin went to find Shen Bei to discuss the orphanage's matters. Li Zan told Song Ran that he was about to return to the country. Song Ran was very happy to hear this because she had already missed her mother and wanted to go back with Li Zan. A Sai, being considerate, took the children away, giving the two of them some alone time.

Li Zan rode a motorcycle, taking Song Ran to the outskirts, where he taught her archery. However, since she wasn't very skilled, Song Ran missed the target. She lied, saying it was because the arrow was faulty. Li Zan demonstrated for her, and during the process, Song Ran intentionally kissed him while shooting the arrow, causing Li Zan to miss as well.

Li Zan then held Song Ran in his arms, teaching her how to shoot the bow and arrow, and they looked very sweet together. As Li Zan prepared to return to the country, Benjamin discovered the last stronghold of the terrorists: a group of caves. He took Li Zan there, hoping to blow up the mines and destroy the terrorists' final base. However, they were spotted by Abu, who was driving by and recognized Li Zan.

Afterward, Li Zan carefully prepared a demolition plan. When Benjamin initiated the attack, he would simultaneously detonate 19 mines, clearing the terrorists’ last stronghold. Just as the two were discussing their plan, Sa Xin walked in. He was worried when he saw that the two were planning to go to the mountains alone. Since Li Zan had to return to the country with Song Ran in three days, he wouldn’t be able to join Benjamin's military operation.

Hearing that Li Zan wouldn’t participate, Benjamin was somewhat disappointed. Song Ran also went to the orphanage to find Shen Bei. Shen Bei told Song Ran that the International Children's Rescue Organization had sent an invitation for her to participate. Shen Bei decided to accept the invitation. Song Ran informed Shen Bei that she would be returning to the country in three days.

The two of them had already become close friends, and Shen Bei hoped Song Ran could stay a few more days until the orphanage was officially finished before leaving. Li Zan sent Song Ran a message. After reading it, Song Ran didn’t hesitate to part ways with Shen Bei and went to find Li Zan. After meeting, Song Ran told Li Zan her thoughts: she wanted to leave two days later. Li Zan readily agreed.

Meanwhile, Sa Xin and Benjamin were having a friendly competition. A group of soldiers cheered them on. No one expected that Sa Xin would win against Benjamin. Benjamin initially tried to back out of the punishment, but Sa Xin called him out, and the crowd insisted that Benjamin accept the penalty.
