Lan Yao is a young and beautiful game designer who, despite her youth, already owns her own studio. She is highly respected in the game design industry and is often referred to as Lan Yao the Great. Recently, she designed a game called "The Metaverse of Love. " This game requires players to place a chip on their temple, allowing them to experience the game's excitement while resting their eyes.

Xiao Ran, the president of Shanhai Corporation, is optimistic about the game. Before its official launch, he, like Lan Yao, closed his eyes to experience it. In the game, Xiao Ran plays the role of a young hero tasked with finding Xing Tian. In the storyline, Xing Tian is protecting his wife and is reluctant to engage with Xiao Ran. However, when Xing Tian, holding his wife, reaches a broken bridge, a game bug causes the screen to freeze. Lan Yao's character is Xing Tian.
