Xiao Ran held Song Lingling for a long time before she returned to normal. Once Song Lingling had fallen asleep, he quietly called Dr. Xue to inform him of Song Lingling's current condition. Dr. Xue promised Xiao Ran that he would find a solution as soon as possible. He advised Xiao Ran to keep his distance from Song Lingling to avoid further harm until the problem was resolved, but Xiao Ran was unwilling to do so.
Knowing that Song Lingling was temporarily unable to focus on the game issues, Xiao Ran decided to halt the game project despite opposition from the board members. Shen Xiangyu learned about this decision and instructed Vick to be prepared. She believed that it wouldn't be long before Vick would replace Blue Glory and gain control of the game.
When Xiao Ran returned home, he instructed the housekeeper, Qisao, to put all sharp objects like knives and scissors in a place where Song Lingling wouldn't find them. Noticing Qisao's puzzled expression, Xiao Ran explained that Song Lingling had some minor mental issues and should not be exposed to these objects for now. Song Lingling noticed the scars on Xiao Ran's arm and called Liu Yiyi to inquire about the situation at the hospital last night.
Liu Yiyi revealed that Song Lingling had once again transformed into Xing Tian, referring to her as "Madam," and mentioned the incident of her grabbing Zhang Yunfei's neck. Liu Yiyi also emphasized that Song Lingling, in her Xing Tian state, had become extremely strong. Realizing from Liu Yiyi's words that holding hands with Xiao Ran no longer had any effect, Song Lingling decided to leave the house quietly while Xiao Ran was asleep.
She initially intended to find her mother but worried that Xing Tian might scare her mother, so she wandered aimlessly around the streets. Surrounded by familiar sights, she couldn't help but think about the times she spent with Xiao Ran. When Xiao Ran woke up and found Song Lingling missing, he called her but realized she hadn't brought her phone when he heard it ringing indoors.
Assuming Song Lingling had gone to Liu Yiyi's place, he called Liu Yiyi, who informed him that Song Lingling was not there. Xiao Ran then went to Blue Glory Studio, where Da Xiong and others told him that Song Lingling had not returned to the office after the electrocution. Upon learning of Song Lingling's disappearance, Liu Yiyi called Zhang Yunfei to help search for her. They scoured all possible places where Song Lingling might have gone but couldn't find her.
With Liu Yiyi's suggestion, Xiao Ran suddenly remembered the small forest where he and Song Lingling first met. When he arrived there, he indeed found Song Lingling. Xiao Ran asked Song Lingling why she had left without a word and if she already knew that holding hands and kissing were no longer effective in controlling Xing Tian's possession of her body. Song Lingling rolled up Xiao Ran's sleeve and pointed to the scars, saying that she didn’t want Xiao Ran to be harmed any further.
