Xiao Ran reassured Song Lingling, telling her not to worry. Even if she turned into Xing Tian, she would not be his match. He asked Song Lingling to take a few days off, promising to handle all the problems himself. When Xiao Ran returned to the company, the board members were very displeased with his decision to suspend the game. They gave him three days to resolve the issues, or they would halt their investment in the game.
To prevent a funding crisis, Xiao Ran remembered that Shen Xiangyu wanted to invest in the game, so he called Lin Jiao. After they met, Xiao Ran had just finished explaining his situation when Shen Xiangyu arrived. She told Xiao Ran that she was willing to invest in the game but wanted Lin Jiao to discuss the cooperation details with her. Regarding the game's repair, she preferred that Vick and Song Lingling work on it together.

Since copying the data would take a considerable amount of time, Da Xiong suggested that Xiao Ran leave first and he would send the data once it was copied.
However, Xiao Ran felt uneasy leaving such important data in someone else's hands and decided to stay until the data was copied. When Song Lingling returned to Blue Glory Studio, she was surprised to see Xiao Ran. Xiao Ran scolded her for not resting. Initially, Song Lingling tried to explain with a smile, but when she learned that Xiao Ran wanted to copy the game’s original data, she pulled him aside to ask him what was going on.
Xiao Ran hurriedly explained that he was thinking of her, but Song Lingling was still very angry. Seeing Song Lingling leave in anger, Da Xiong quickly explained to Xiao Ran that everyone knew the solution to the problem was to delete the hidden boss, but that boss was very important to Song Lingling.
