After leaving Nangong Yu, Xiao Ran called his brother, Lin Jiao, asking him to come over because he had discovered the mastermind behind the scheme. Nervously, Lin Jiao went to see Xiao Ran. When Xiao Ran showed him the video, Lin Jiao realized that Xiao Ran suspected Chen Zong and Li Zong.
The video revealed that the person sitting opposite Li Zong and Chen Zong was the head of the "Glory of Love Design Studio," who had caused trouble for Song Lingling at the release conference. Lin Jiao was relieved when he saw that Xiao Ran wasn’t suspicious of him. Xiao Ran asked if the surveillance footage had been processed. Lin Jiao apologized, saying he had accidentally lost the USB drive.

To avoid misunderstanding from her mother, Song Lingling kicked Xiao Ran away.
