Thirteen years later, the murderer of the 1997 South City mystery has resurfaced.

As the real killer was never traced, the police officer Wei Zhengrong left the force with a pity.

Lu Xingzhi, who was once a new police officer, has become a mature and meticulous detective.

Episode 1 Recap

In 2010, a vicious murder occurred in Nandu City. Seeing the death of a young girl, the captain of the criminal investigation detachment, Lu Xingzhi, remembered a case from thirteen years ago. In 1997, Lu Xingzhi had just joined the police force. His master Wei Zhengrong had a bold personality and didn’t like his bookish apprentice. The first victim was similar to the one in 2010 in that they both had strange postures and there was an HB pencil at the scene.

The victim in 1997, Liu Meng, was a dancer in a nightclub. The deceased Wang Nannan in 2010 was also a dancer. The unsolved case is still a hidden pain for the police, and Wei Zhengrong is no longer in the criminal investigation detachment. Lu Xingzhi and his wife Yang Man divorced and have a sixteen-year-old daughter named Lu Anning. The first suspect in 1997 was Hong Kong superstar Huang Jiajie.

Episode 24 (Ending) Recap
