Mo Suqing was still organizing her previous work at the newspaper. Several projects were invested in by the Jue Shi Group, and while going through the materials, she also provided some information to Ye Zhongjue. Upon seeing the information, Ye Zhongjue instantly understood. The next day, during the meeting, because Ye Zhongjue had prepared the materials in advance, some of Mr. Bai's team were left speechless.
Mo Suqing walked into Ye Zhongjue's office with the materials. Seeing that he wasn't there, she instantly thought of checking his office for any information related to the car accident that had happened years ago. She had just spotted a private seal of his when Jian Jie suddenly barged in. Seeing Mo Suqing in a fluster, Jian Jie snatched the seal back from her, reminding her that she hadn't officially started her job and didn't have the authority to enter the offices of directors and above.
Thankfully, Ye Zhongjue's sudden arrival diffused the awkward situation. Mo Suqing cautiously explained that she had accidentally hit the seal against something. Unexpectedly, Ye Zhongjue nonchalantly took the seal, gently stamped it on her hand, and casually mentioned that putting his seal on her made her "his person." Jian Jie, feeling jealous, decided to investigate Mo Suqing. Just then, Mr. Bai entered the scene, and Leng Xiyao made a sarcastic remark, suggesting that Jian Jie was being self-delusional. This made Jian Jie angry as well. She did have feelings for Ye Zhongjue but was afraid of being rejected and losing even their friendship, which is why she dared not expose the true nature of their relationship.
