Suqing got drunk at the bar with her best friend, complaining about how Jian Jie knows Ye Zhongjue too well. Her friend advised her to firmly hold onto Mr. Ye and not let Jian Jie cause trouble, or else they might end up losing more than they gain, especially if they can't uncover the truth. When Mr. Ye returned home, he couldn't find Suqing, but suddenly heard someone yelling. It turned out to be Suqing and her friend, who had had too much to drink.
Mr. Ye looked at Suqing before him, finding her a bit cute. He wondered who had made her angry enough to drink so much. Suqing then called him a big fool who knows nothing, saying she didn't like Jian Jie and was tired of her acting like she understands him so well. She was clearly upset, and Mr. Ye finally realized that she was jealous, causing her annoyance.
On Jian Jie's birthday, she was drinking alone, sending messages to Mr. Ye who didn't reply. Unfortunately, Suqing saw this and immediately became upset. She questioned Mr. Ye, asking if he had already arranged to meet with Jian Jie and that if she hadn't shown up, he would have gone on a date with Jian Jie instead. Looking at his petite wife before him, Mr. Ye found her quite endearing and couldn't help but hug and kiss her. Meanwhile, Jian Jie kept waiting for a response, drinking alone and feeling very sad.
A problem arose with the company's patented product, causing Mr. Ye a headache. In order to maintain some distance from Jian Jie, he directly told her that she would handle the situation.
