Upcoming Summer is a youth film directed by Chen Zhengdao, written by Shen Yang and Zhan Chen, led by Zhang Zifeng and Leo Wu Lei, co-starring Hao Lei, Zu Feng, and Liu Xiaohai.
The film focuses on the youthful growth of the post-00 generation and tells the story of Chen Chen, who is about to take his college entrance exams, and Zheng Yuxing, a campus celebrity, who find a lonely kindred spirit in the crowd and face all the confusing problems in their school and family life together in their unresolved youth, and bravely go into the future together.

Synopsis
Chen Chen, who is about to take her college entrance exams, is depressed when she finds out that his mother is "having a romance" with Uncle Wang, but at that moment she accidentally meets Zheng Yuxing, a school celebrity, because of a lie.
In their unresolved youth, they face the challenges of growing up together and bravely face their true selves and witness each other's growth and transformation as the summer passes.
