Han Yijing met with Jia Fan alone and explained that what happened that night was all because of the alcohol. She had lost control because she was drunk, but it really wasn’t sexual harassment. He could even think of it as a lesson—after all, filming commercials would also involve kiss scenes. She apologized and hoped he could forget about that night. As compensation, she would help him prepare for Rachel’s shoot.

Jia Fan said he could promise not to sue her for sexual harassment, but it was impossible to pretend nothing had happened. Han Yijing and Jia Fan thought they had hidden things well and that no one was paying attention, but in reality, their every move had been captured by someone with a camera. Meanwhile, You Ning went to a café to meet with Tina from the magazine regarding the inaugural issue.

Tina said she had no say in the editor-in-chief’s decisions, but she also didn’t know who the editor-in-chief was. The brand’s new product was sunscreen, and to better showcase it, they chose a skateboarding scene. They assured that a stunt double would be available but still required the ambassador to perform a few tricks. With less than a week left, Jia Fan said he had no problem with it—Han Yijing had already given him intensive training.

The company hired a coach for Jia Fan, but his training didn’t go well—he kept falling. Xing Mo told Jia Fan that he should focus on looking good rather than perfecting the technique. Jia Fan said he wanted both. Xing Mo reminded him that filming a commercial wasn’t a competition—expressiveness mattered more than skill.

The key was to ensure every move looked good on camera, as the true star of an advertisement was always the product; people were just there to showcase it. After saying this, Xing Mo personally stepped in to guide Jia Fan. Jia Fan asked him why he was helping. Xing Mo replied that it was all for the sake of "Model Road"—this was the same path he had taken.

Jia Fan apologized to Xing Mo, but Xing Mo simply told him to focus on doing the commercial well and not let people inferior to him take his place. Outside the company, Han Yijing waited to drive Jia Fan home. Jia Fan said he felt truly lucky to have so many good people helping him and promised that he would work hard. Rachel’s shoot was rescheduled from 11 AM to 9 AM, leaving Jia Fan completely bewildered.

He only found out after arriving at the company—thankfully, Han Yijing was waiting for him. The notification had been sent out the night before, but they couldn’t reach Jia Fan, so they had informed Xing Mo instead, as the two happened to be together at the time. However, Xing Mo’s phone wasn’t with him then—Li Haoran had later picked it up.

At the shoot, President Ling spotted Xing Mo and shot him an angry glare without saying a word, leaving him confused about what he had done wrong. Due to morning rush hour traffic, President Ling personally went to the director to buy some time. Eventually, with Dong Xiaoru’s help, Jia Fan rushed to the set on an electric scooter, but he was still over 30 minutes late.

Director Zhang was already losing his temper, but in the end, the shoot proceeded smoothly. Han Yijing assumed that Xing Mo had deliberately caused trouble and scolded him without reason. Xing Mo was upset—not only had he been wrongly blamed, but after so many years of knowing each other, there was still so little trust between them. On the way to the set, Jia Fan had fallen and injured his arm.

Han Yijing told him to go to the hospital, but Jia Fan insisted he could endure it—he had come so far and didn’t want to give up now. When the shoot began, despite being suspended on wires, Jia Fan pushed through the pain and performed his moves. The first take went well, but when Director Zhang asked for a second take, Jia Fan kept making mistakes.

You Ning, who had been secretly paying attention after hearing about Jia Fan’s injury, noticed his repeated errors. She immediately told Xing Mo to get ready to step in. Jia Fan fell again and made another mistake. Unable to hold back any longer, Director Zhang stormed forward in frustration. President Ling quickly stepped in and asked the director to give Jia Fan a short break to adjust his condition.
