Xing Mo approached Han Yijing and, for Jia Fan’s sake, urged her to convince him to go to the hospital. Han Yijing didn’t want Jia Fan to lose this opportunity, but Xing Mo reminded her that this shoot was difficult—it wasn’t something he could just fake by striking a few poses. Jia Fan was still young, and Xing Mo assumed Han Yijing wouldn’t want him to end up like her in the future.

Han Yijing no longer insisted, so Xing Mo went to President Ling and suggested replacing Jia Fan. After weighing the options, Jia Fan was replaced. Jia Fan found it hard to accept this reality. Han Yijing told him, “You said that if I told you to stop, you’d listen to me. ”Ding Chen mentioned Jia Fan’s situation to Li Haoran, then muttered to himself that there might be something suspicious about it. Li Haoran remained silent.

Jia Fan walked out of the hospital with his left arm wrapped in bandages. Han Yijing stepped forward and took his X-ray film to examine it. Just as Jia Fan was about to joke, Han Yijing, with a serious face, said that eight years ago, she had raised a dog and was surprised to find that a dog’s bones looked exactly like a human’s.

Jia Fan asked Han Yijing to lift the film, pointed to a spot, and said, “Look, there’s a heart right there. Your dog didn’t have that, did it? ”Han Yijing, feeling shy, replied, “No. ”Then Jia Fan leaned close to Han Yijing’s ear and whispered, “I’ll give it to you. ”Xing Mo returned to the bar and saw Ding Chen and Li Haoran. He shoved the drunken Ding Chen aside and confronted Li Haoran alone.

Li Haoran admitted that he had secretly checked Xing Mo’s phone and answered the company’s call. Jia Fan also knew that someone had manipulated things behind the scenes, but he was still happy that the commercial had been successfully completed. Han Yijing assured him that it was definitely not Xing Mo’s doing. After calming down and thinking it through, she realized she understood Xing Mo’s personality very well.

He was just like her—only doing what he was supposed to do, never explaining himself, appearing distant and aloof, but ultimately someone who could be completely trusted. Xing Mo quietly picked up the shattered glass on the floor and treated his own wounds. He recalled his past life in the streets when he was once ambushed by a gang and fought them alone.

As he was leaving after the fight, he happened to run into President Ling, who had just stepped out. She was shocked by the scene and froze in place. One of the men who had been knocked down suddenly got up and threw a brick at them. Xing Mo shielded President Ling and took the hit directly, landing himself in the hospital. At that time, President Ling had suggested that he try a different path and consider becoming a model.

Xing Mo later found President Ling and deliberately played the role of a troublemaker, saying, “I took advantage of the situation. After all, I’m just a little punk, right? ”President Ling knew Xing Mo’s temperament well—he always acted self-destructive when he was feeling down. If he had something to say, he wouldn’t say it outright. But she already understood the whole situation and knew it had nothing to do with him. Xing Mo could no longer suppress his emotions.

He confessed that from the very beginning—whether it was speaking up for Jia Fan, training him, or even stepping in to replace him during the shoot—everything he had done was for her. He was willing to do anything for her. Han Yijing took Jia Fan home and even accompanied him upstairs.

Jia Fan invited her to admire the night view with him and admitted that the reason he was working so hard was to move into a luxurious home and give his father a better life. Han Yijing didn’t shy away from talking about her own family either. Her parents had divorced, her mother moved abroad without taking her, and later passed away. She had been raised by her aunt, President Ling.

Han Yijing said she felt cold, and Jia Fan pulled her into an embrace—only to be interrupted by a phone call. Han Yijing then invited Jia Fan to be her date for a brand’s party. Jia Fan agreed, then kissed Han Yijing.
