During an audition, Jia Fan ran into his former rookie team members. After a brief greeting, he immediately went in to audition. The applicants were grouped in fives. Designer Jimmy said Jia Fan was passable and marked him as "pending. " Then, Jimmy asked a female former teammate to change clothes in front of everyone, just to confirm if she had lied about her waist size.

Jia Fan couldn’t stand watching and spoke up for her, which resulted in his "pending" status being revoked. Jia Fan took out his phone and started filming Jimmy, intending to post it online, but Jimmy stopped him. While everyone was worried, Liao Jinyuan arrived, and the rookie team members quickly went up to ask for help. Jimmy said he'd give Jia Fan a chance—apologize and take off his clothes, or be blacklisted from the industry.

Jia Fan looked at him like he was a clown and didn’t say a word. Just then, Liao Jinyuan pushed open the door and told Jimmy that "Qixiang"’s philosophy didn’t align with teachers who stripped models or made personal attacks, and they might as well cancel next spring’s collaboration. Jia Fan asked why Liao Jinyuan helped him. Liao Jinyuan said he wasn’t helping Jia Fan—he just couldn’t stand people disrespecting the modeling profession.

After work, Han Yijing got home and wanted to message Jia Fan but didn’t know what to say. You Ning asked Xing Mo which direction she should pivot her career toward. Xing Mo said she had to choose her own path. You Ning, with her romantic mindset, thought Liao Jinyuan advising her to change was him considering their future. Xing Mo asked if she wanted the truth. You Ning said, “Forget it.

” Liao Jinyuan and Jia Fan walked into a bar together. Liao Jinyuan said Jia Fan insisted on buying him a drink, so he brought him here—to bring some business to Xing Mo. At a table with Liao Jinyuan and Jia Fan, Xing Mo watched You Ning sit at the bar entrance. Jia Fan said he didn’t regret his choices. Liao Jinyuan warned him that if he didn’t make something of himself, he’d go after Han Yijing.

Just as Xing Mo was urging You Ning to leave, Han Yijing arrived. You Ning, ever the drama lover, was the one who called Han Yijing over. You Ning told Jia Fan that even though she liked Liao Jinyuan, she was fully on Jia Fan’s side in this. Since things were already out in the open, she encouraged Jia Fan to stick to being himself—one day, President Ling would have to give in.

Jia Fan left Han Yijing and Liao Jinyuan to talk alone and waited outside for Han Yijing. Han Yijing said she was very worried about him and missed him a lot. But Jia Fan was the kind of person who only shared good news, not bad. He originally planned to reach out once he had some good news.

Han Yijing felt for him and took him to a boxing gym to blow off steam—she said she did this every time she was stressed. At Han Yijing’s suggestion, Shu Bo called Jia Fan to ask if he needed help. Jia Fan thanked him but said that when one door closes, another opens.

Si Min accidentally let something slip, and after Han Yijing pressed for more, Shu Bo admitted he had reached out to several companies on Jia Fan’s behalf, but the leads mysteriously went cold. Si Min suspected Jimmy's incident was also President Ling’s doing. Jia Fan stopped to watch a street musician perform, while on the other side, Han Yijing stormed back to the office to confront President Ling. President Ling said she could date, just not Jia Fan.

As her aunt, she was doing it for her own good. Han Yijing replied that if that’s what family means, she’d rather not have one. Jia Fan said he had a new idea—he would pursue a career in social media. When he told Han Yijing the news, her reaction was very flat. Jia Fan sensed something was off but didn’t press further. Jia Fan started building his account, with Dong Xiaoru, Si Min, and Shu Bo all helping out.

The rookie team members also came to walk in his shows. Meanwhile, the magazine issue featuring Han Yijing’s cover reached over 10,000 pre-orders in just four hours and eight minutes. As Liao Jinyuan and his colleagues cheered with excitement, You Ning arrived with afternoon tea. She told Liao Jinyuan that it wasn’t just Han Yijing’s numbers that broke 10,000—Jia Fan’s video views had too.
