Liao Jinyuan had someone pack his luggage, then invited You Ning out for noodles. It was the first time he had ever taken the initiative to ask You Ning out. You Ning dressed up specially and arrived early. She asked the noodle shop owner to serve noodles every five minutes to make sure the noodles wouldn’t clump up by the time Liao Jinyuan arrived. Liao Jinyuan had left Qixiang.

He encouraged You Ning to work hard on her acting career, and said that once she won an award, she could come find him in the UK—he was returning to being a photographer. As he was leaving, You Ning ran after him and asked if she was the only person he saw before going abroad. Liao Jinyuan smiled and admitted it.

You Ning couldn’t hold back anymore and threw herself into his arms, crying as she told him she would work hard to win an award and go find him. And when that time came, whether or not he saw her as his girlfriend, he must stop treating her like a child. The surgery was scheduled, but Jia Fan's father insisted that Jia Fan be the one to perform it—otherwise, he would cancel the operation.

In a fit of anger, Jia Fan said if his dad didn’t do the surgery, then he wouldn’t go abroad. His father became furious and picked up a slipper to hit him. He had already passed the illness to Jia Fan and didn’t want to fight his son for the chance at surgery. Upon hearing this, Dong Xiaoru realized for the first time that Jia Fan also had an eye condition.

Jia Fan told Dong Xiaoru that he had recommended her to Modelling Road as a styling assistant. Early in the morning, Jia Fan was woken up by his alarm clock. He placed the family photo back on the table and went to his dad’s room, only to find it empty. Jia Fan’s father had asked Dong Xiaoru to arrange a meeting with Han Yijing—he wanted her to persuade Jia Fan. But Han Yijing didn’t agree to it.

Instead, she ended up persuading Jia Fan’s father to go through with the surgery. Afterward, Han Yijing wandered near the company and saw President Ling coming out. She suggested they grab a meal together, and President Ling happily agreed. Jia Fan’s father wanted to keep his meeting with Han Yijing a secret, but when he returned, Jia Fan was right there in the yard and had heard everything.

During the meal, President Ling tried to joke with Han Yijing to lighten the mood, but it didn’t quite work. Han Yijing thanked her for everything she had done for Jia Fan. She knew that President Ling had done it all for her. Over the years, the two of them had been so stubborn—sharp-tongued but soft-hearted, always keeping up appearances but suffering inside. Even in front of family, they still carried that weight.

Han Yijing said she wanted to live more freely from now on. Crying, she apologized to President Ling for misunderstanding her all these years and hurting her, even though she had done so much for her. In the end, with teary eyes, she looked at President Ling and said thank you for bringing her home. Jia Fan also reconciled with his father. Once his eyes were healed, he said he wanted to see his son’s hard work for himself.

Han Yijing and President Ling sat by the couch, drinking wine and chatting about future plans. President Ling joked that since Han Yijing was such a good cook, maybe she could be a chef. Han Yijing asked her to invest first—after all, she was her wealthy Aunt Ling. Jia Fan accompanied his father for the surgery. Dong Xiaoru and her mother came along with big and small bags. President Ling personally met them at the hospital.

Han Yijing dressed up beautifully and waited outside the operating room, fingers tightly interlocked with Jia Fan’s. You Ning gave it her all for her acting career, completely disregarding her image. Finally, her efforts paid off—she won Best Supporting Actress. Overjoyed at hearing the announcement, she excitedly said she wanted to go to Turkey to find Liao Jinyuan. Shu Bo, now her manager, strongly opposed her plans to take a vacation abroad.

The two of them argued constantly over the schedule. President Ling and Xing Mo were also making rapid progress. Xing Mo continued to bring her blueberry tuna sandwiches, and President Ling no longer resisted his affection. Modelling Road’s grand show began. Everyone took their seats. Although President Ling and Xing Mo weren’t seated together, their eyes found each other. The show featured New Chinese Style fashion and was held in a building full of bamboo, exuding elegance and beauty.

Han Yijing appeared last as the designer, receiving a round of applause. Jia Fan returned from abroad and rushed straight to the show from the airport. He said he wasn’t leaving anymore—he would treat his eyes first, then propose. In front of everyone, Jia Fan kissed Han Yijing, then held her hand as they walked away together.
