Jia Fan saw Han Yijing’s advertisement at the bus stop and recalled her words to him: “Do what you should as soon as possible. You’re not cut out for the modeling industry, so stop dreaming. ” Anger surged within him. He wanted to stomp on and smash the billboard but couldn’t actually do it. Instead, he ended up drawing dark circles under Han Yijing’s eyes and adding a bunch of freckles to her face.

Han Yijing, watching his actions from a distance, seemed lost in thought. Shu Bo called Han Yijing to apologize, asking her not to tell President Ling. Han Yijing simply told him to handle it himself and not to drag her down with him. Back home, Jia Fan impulsively cut his own hair. The next day, he went to the studio for a photo shoot, telling the photographer he needed pictures for his résumé.

He spent ages striking different poses, leaving the photographer utterly confused. Dong Xiaoru assumed he hadn’t prepared properly, but Jia Fan, feeling wronged, insisted that he had spent all night practicing body movements. Dong Xiaoru sighed and told him that, for a beginner, the most important thing was to build confidence—excessive imitation would only make his movements stiffer. While stepping outside for some fresh air, Jia Fan noticed a photoshoot happening in the adjacent studio, featuring Han Yijing.

In front of the camera, she exuded confidence and charm, and every shot was flawless. Jia Fan let out a sigh and was about to leave when Han Yijing called out to him, reminding him that résumé photos were crucial and telling him to take them seriously. Even after adjusting his mindset, Jia Fan still looked lifeless, and his stiff posture resulted in unsatisfactory photos.

Seeing this, Han Yijing personally stepped in to adjust his outfit and advised him to embrace his imperfections. She told him to keep his gaze firm and try immersing himself in a familiar scene—such as imagining himself slicing raw fish. Sure enough, with her guidance, his performance improved significantly. Xing Mo reminded Han Yijing to stay neutral, as Jia Fan was a contestant.

Han Yijing explained that he reminded her of herself when she had just started, so she only wanted to help him—nothing more. Dong Xiaoru advised Jia Fan that since he had already made up his mind, he should set aside his pride. Attitude didn’t matter—results did. As they walked, they unknowingly arrived at Han Yijing’s advertisement board. Seeing her face defaced, Dong Xiaoru quickly took out a tissue to wipe it clean. Feeling guilty, Jia Fan rushed to help.

After they cleaned it up, Jia Fan stood in front of the advertisement, staring at Han Yijing’s photo. Coincidentally, Han Yijing passed by in a car and was stunned. "Wait… is he staring at me? "After registering, Jia Fan successfully made it into the competition. Outside of his regular work, he dedicated all his free time to training under Shu Bo’s guidance.

As the competition approached, Jia Fan was still nowhere to be found, leaving Dong Xiaoru frantic as she called him repeatedly. Meanwhile, Jia Fan, riding his electric scooter, suddenly blacked out and crashed hard to the ground. A passerby woke him up, and he struggled to his feet, clutching his guitar. However, before he could take another step, he completely collapsed.

The competition was in full swing, and just as Jia Fan’s group was about to finish their interview, he arrived, dragging his guitar behind him. Seeing the bloodstains on his sleeve, You Ning stepped up to speak on his behalf, and the judges agreed to give him a chance. However, when Jia Fan took out his guitar, he realized all the strings were broken.

Thinking quickly, he used the items from his bag to perform an impromptu coffee-making demonstration, serving a cup to each judge. For Han Yijing, he specially crafted a latte with a little white rabbit latte art. After showcasing his learning ability and determination, Jia Fan confidently answered Han Yijing’s question—he said that this time, he was doing it for his dream and was ready to fight for it.
