Jia Fan went to the restroom to tend to his wound. On his way out, he bumped into You Ning. She told him that he had shown great sincerity and determination, which was commendable, but he shouldn’t have mentioned "The One" magazine. Jia Fan was confused, so You Ning reminded him that the moment he brought up that magazine, everyone’s expression darkened—especially Han Yijing. Regardless, she would support Jia Fan, and so would Han Yijing.

Shu Bo was very satisfied with Jia Fan’s runway walk, saying he did well. After returning home, Han Yijing took out a copy of "The One" magazine. It was the last magazine she appeared in before her car accident. She had a whole stack of them at home, and the photographer’s name, Liao Jinyuan, was prominently displayed on each cover. Dong Xiaoru told Jia Fan that "The One" magazine was Liao Jinyuan’s final work before disappearing.

He was once Han Yijing’s boyfriend, yet even after her accident left her hospitalized for three years, he never showed up. At home, Han Yijing drank alone, reminiscing about the accident. At that time, she had completely lost control—she was speeding on the highway while calling Liao Jinyuan, which led to a severe crash. Overnight, she lost her love, her career, and her health.

It was a devastating blow, but she faced the gossip and speculation with resilience, making a powerful comeback that silenced all those who doubted her. Bringing up such painful memories during the interview, Dong Xiaoru was secretly worried about Jia Fan’s competition prospects. Jia Fan, unaware of the backstory beforehand, could only resign himself to fate. Late at night, a tipsy Han Yijing, wearing a mask, stumbled into the seafood shop looking for Jia Fan, demanding to eat sashimi.

She even reached out to grab a lobster, only to be pinched, causing her to scream in pain. Jia Fan treated her wound while noticing how different she seemed from her usual cold and aloof self—drunk, she was naïve and adorable. Han Yijing tearfully said she had come for "The One" magazine. Even though it had been discontinued, she was shocked that he had managed to find a copy.

She insisted on reclaiming it and then suddenly burst into loud sobs, complaining that the lobster had hurt her too much. Jia Fan took Han Yijing home to find the magazine. Since his father wasn’t home, the two of them were alone. Jia Fan hurriedly retrieved the magazine for her. After getting her hands on it, Han Yijing asked for water. While Jia Fan went to get it, she ran up to the rooftop and tore the magazine to shreds.

After bringing her back downstairs, Han Yijing said she wanted to eat instant noodles. Jia Fan obediently cooked some for her. Seeing the table covered in her magazines, Han Yijing asked about them, but Jia Fan stubbornly claimed that Dong Xiaoru had bought them. When Jia Fan inquired about his interview results, Han Yijing told him she would give him some professional advice as a senior, without any personal bias.

She reminded him that modeling was a career dependent on youth, and at 25, he was already standing at the threshold. Jia Fan was about to retort but held back. Han Yijing then told him that she had given him the lowest score in history. After finishing her noodles, Han Yijing asked Jia Fan to take her home. On the way, she fell asleep on his shoulder.

Jia Fan recalled her words—modeling had a low entry barrier, but making it big was harder than reaching the heavens. The next morning, Han Yijing woke up in bed and suddenly remembered what had happened the night before at Jia Fan’s place. She screamed, exclaiming that she’d rather just die. President Ling, as Han Yijing’s aunt, expressed concern and urged her to prepare well for the Rachel brand endorsement.

However, Han Yijing refused, saying she didn’t want to take You Ning’s opportunity. President Ling, however, said it was the client’s decision.
