Shen Xi, after her younger sister kept asking questions, retreated to her room and began pretending to water the plants as if nothing had happened. Chen Mobai returned to the racing team, and Hao Yang asked him if he wanted Shen Xi to be an engineer because of her relationship with Dr. Shen or because he liked her. Chen Mobai replied that it was definitely because of her identity as Dr. Shen.
Early the next day, Chen Mobai was waiting for a phone call. When he heard that the company had fired Shen Xi, he rushed down immediately. He expressed his disapproval of Chen Mofei's actions, describing them as too domineering and unethical. Jiang Wei informed him that the new engineer had arrived, and Chen Mobai said he didn't want to see them. Jiang Wei asked if he wouldn't regret it, and Chen Mobai said he wouldn't. Jiang Wei still referred to Shen Xi as "Engineer Shen." Chen Mobai turned around upon hearing this and said that he had just said it casually. And so, Shen Xi became Chen Mobai's new engineer, and both of them were very happy.
Shen Xi told Shaoqian that she had agreed to be the engineer for the Rui Feng racing team, and he was pleased to hear the news. On her first day at work, everyone welcomed her. On her first day, she assigned tasks to everyone, including Chen Mobai. However, he couldn't have expected that the first task she assigned to him was running. She mentioned that she wanted to test his endurance limits. After the run, Chen Mobai thought they would take a break, but Shen Xi surprised him by initiating cold resistance training. She had the team members put ice on him, and they started playfully wrestling with each other, having a great time.
In the evening, Chen Mobai drove Shen Xi home, and when she got out of the car, he felt a bit down. However, she unexpectedly returned to ask if he could pick her up the next time to improve efficiency. Hao Yang told Zhao Yingning about what happened yesterday, and she said she just wanted to know if they had any physical relationship. Hao Yang mentioned that all efforts in this world need to be mutual, otherwise there's no future. Chen Mobai arrived at the racing team but was surprised to see Zhao Yingning there. She said she wanted to see how good Shen Xi, the parachute engineer, really was. Shen Xi didn't want Chen Mobai to be in a difficult situation and immediately accepted the challenge. After hearing Zhao Yingning's instructions, everyone said they could finish it in just an hour, which shocked them as they usually took three or four hours for such tasks. Shen Xi then began to methodically guide everyone. As a result, they completed the challenge under her guidance. Zhao Yingning acknowledged Shen Xi's performance but said it didn't mean she approved of her. She was determined to get what she wanted and believed that they should understand that.
Chen Mobai asked Shen Xi what she wanted to eat to celebrate in the evening, and she suggested hot and sour fish. Chen Mobai noticed that everyone was starting to study hard and praised Zhao Yingning for managing the team well. Shen Xi saw Shaoqian and Chen Mobai playfully wrestling and called Chen Mobai over. Everyone started gossiping and discussing the nature of their relationship. Chen Mobai told them not to worry about him and invited them to come and train with him whenever they wanted. He was confident in his skills and said he was very familiar with this track. He even claimed he could do it with his eyes closed. Shen Xi then handed him a blindfold and, as she interacted with him, he blushed.
Shen Xi just wanted him to develop muscle memory. When Chen Mobai tried to take off the blindfold, she held his hand, and he explained that he had just wanted to get some water. Shen Xi felt embarrassed and left. Shen Xi recalled her sister's words and suddenly felt nervous, so she quickened her pace to leave. Xiaopang noticed that Shen Xi hadn't eaten dinner and asked her why. Shen Xi explained that she had something to do in the evening. Chen Mobai stood on the rooftop, puzzled by Shen Xi's sudden departure. Chen Mobai went to an amusement park and played go-karting, but some nearby children laughed at him. He immediately overtook the children. Shen Xi, watching, said that his current speed was only 15 miles per hour, or it wouldn't count as passing.
