The Lunar New Year is coming soon. Su Zaizai's father is still sticking paper-cut window decorations at home. When Su Zaizai sees her mother coming out, she says she still needs a pair of shoes. Later, Su Zaizai shares with Zhang Lurang what she has been doing today. Zhang Lurang looks at his mother and younger brother having a good time together and feels like an outsider who can't join in. So, Zhang Lurang's life consists of only Su Su and himself, and now they have added Su Zaizai to their conversation.
While having dinner at home, Su Zaizai's father suddenly says he wants to go back to their hometown for the Lunar New Year. Su Zaizai was initially complaining about not wanting to go, but when she finds out that their hometown is the same as Zhang Lurang's hometown, she immediately changes her attitude and actively goes back to her bedroom to pack. Su Zaizai told him that he is her top priority in their chats, so if Zhang Lurang sends her a message, she will see it immediately.
Gu Ran and his parents were watching the Spring Festival Gala at home. However, his mother went to the hospital for a patient's matter, and his father went to make a phone call for work. Jiang Jia sent blessings to her close friends, and Gu Ran called Jiang Jia. When the countdown started, Su Zaizai proactively called Zhang Lurang and expressed her New Year's wishes.
