Lin Weixu had someone take Fu Su to take a bath and change his clothes. After the bath, Fu Su became even more handsome. Lin Weixu had the kitchen make him some dishes and Fu Su ate them ravenously. Lin Weixu smiled and asked him if it was true that merfolk were not afraid of poison. Fu Su thought that Lin Weixu had poisoned his food and quickly put down his chopsticks. Lin Weixu quickly explained that she didn’t poison his food.
Lin Weixu took out the dagger made from the fish fins of the merfolk and asked Fu Su if he recognized it. Fu Su looked at the dagger and shook his head. After Fu Su finished his meal, Lin Weixu held up his chin and was admiring him when his senior brother Gu Danmo suddenly walked in. Seeing this scene before him, Gu Danmo suddenly became jealous and left in anger. Lin Weixu chased after him.
Lin Weixu told Gu Danmo that she kept Fu Su only to investigate who killed her master, but Gu Danmo didn’t believe that her purpose was so simple. He suggested taking Fu Su away for questioning, but Lin Weixu refused resolutely. The two were arguing when A Jiu suddenly came to report that the young master and Fu Su were fighting.
