Lin Weixu arrived at the dungeon of Gu Danmo and saw Fu Su chained to a pillar, covered in blood. She immediately threw herself into his arms and cried, telling him that she never wanted to drive him away. Lin Weixu wanted to rescue Fu Su, but he advised her not to do so, as Gu Danmo would surely change his plan if he escaped. Fu Su also revealed to Lin Weixu that Gu Danmo's ambition was not just limited to their current situation, he wanted to conquer the entire world. After hearing this, Lin Weixu decided to proceed with their plan.
The Emperor was sitting on the throne when Gu Danmo suddenly entered, pointing his sword at him. The Emperor asked why Gu Danmo wanted to rebel, reminding him that he was the Grand Tutor of Daqin Kingdom and held great power. However, Gu Danmo sneered and said that he did not want to remain subordinate to anyone. He had grown tired of being the Grand Tutor in recent years. As he was about to attack the Emperor, Lin Weixu suddenly appeared and held a sword to his neck.
Gu Danmo coldly laughed at Lin Weixu, warning her to think carefully about the consequences of betraying him. He also revealed that their mentor was a warning to them, as he was killed by Gu Danmo. Upon hearing this, Lin Weixu realized that Fu Su's suspicions were correct. She no longer held any reservations towards Gu Danmo and they engaged in a fight. Lin Weixu was no match for Gu Danmo and was eventually defeated, but just as Gu Danmo was about to kill her, Fu Su appeared and struck him down with a single blow. At that moment, the Emperor also stood up and tore off his fish-skin mask.
